Excellent recipe! I made it last night, using mashed yukons and white cheddar. I had the big 8 tortillas. Oh my goodness, they are delicious! I like the shallow frying. No mess, nicely crispy and uses little oil. My husband wants beef the next time. Having only ground round on hand, if I mash some beans, add cheese, it should hold together better like the potatoes did. I really like the tortilla glue idea too. Thank you!

I love the corn starch tip! I usually use a toothpick to hold them together (that s how grandma made them so now I have to pass this tip along to her. I have 2 questions: 1. What brand of tortilla did you use? (I can t get good ones where I live now compared to the ones I used to get near Chicago) 2. What exactly did you do to warm your tortillas? How long? Thank you so much for making this video!

Right when I saw the Idahoan potatoe packet I was in awe because I use that brand a lot when I need a quick dinner for me and my boyfriend. Also love the chicken boullion and minced onion idea for adding in the water. I have used butter and minced garlic and Italian seasoning and salt to taste. Great video very informative and looks so yummy! Can t wait to try it!

Can you do something with frozen hash browns? They are not tasting good frying them up like they say in the package. What can I add or do with those frozen hash browns? Thank you so much for giving us so many ideas to survive this pandemic. It is now said the entire country is going to be shut down. Good Lord and pray everyone

I just did these for my lunch. delicious. I baked them for 13 minutes at 425. Sprayed them with canola oil and sprinkled with kosher salt and popped into the oven. Great for today's rainy weather and being inside due to corona virus cautions. 3-25-2020

I love flautas, you have inspired me to create. I always have left over mashed potatoes. & Iam crazy about pepperjack cheese. Thanks. PS. I wish I could bake them & get the same results, but that's asking for too much. A definite show stopper. Great job

Two of my son's favorite foods, cheese and potatoes, encased in his favorite texture in foods! He'll love the crunchiness of these rolled tacos! Love the simplicity of this recipe, especially during these times. Thank you, SAM! (Simply Amazing Mama)
