Today I am making delicious Cheddar filled Pickled Jalapeno Poppers. I love the combination of using pickled jalapeno and sharp cheddar cheese. The crunchy texture from the panko bread crumbs makes this the perfect snack or appetizer. INGREDIENTS 12 oz can pickled jalapenos 8 oz block sharp cheddar cheese 1/2 cup all purpose flour 1 cup plain bread crumbs 1/2 cup Panko bread crumbs 2 large eggs 1/2 cup water salt and pepper to taste 1/4 tsp to 1/2 tsp onion powder (optional)

Hi! Found your recipe a week or so ago. Pickled my peppers last night and prepped them this morning with my daughter! One more hour in the freezer and I'll let you know how they taste via editing this comment! Thanks so much for sharing this recipe! I always wondered how they were made! Premade poppers are so expensive!

I made these today! Followed your video to the step! Only problem I ran into was I could not get the bread crumb coat to stick to the jalapenos, they still turned out the bomb! But my jalapeno was showing on every one of them! Do you happen to have any tips or ideas that could help the bread crumb coat stick to the actual pepper?

Ha. the funny part is that as I was watching, and planning on making these, I was thinking. Hmmm I think a have a little bit of sourcream left in the fridge and a half used pkt. of ranch dressing that needs to be used (that was before your dip at the end)! Thanks for all your videos I always learn alot! :)

looks incredible i've been wanting to make jalapeno poppers for a while! question. can you bake these instead of deep-frying? its not really a health thing, i've just never deep fried anything. also, can you use this recipe as-is in an air fryer too? if you happen to know let me know. thanks again.

I think I just made jalapeno grenades. Took whole jalapeno peppers cut the top off deseeded, mixed cream cheese and sharp cheddar cheese, stuffed the peppers, floured / eggwashed / panko bread crumbs / eggwashed again and panko breaded again. Now sitting in the freezer waiting for the fryer!

Good Lordy Gordy! Those look delicious. The whole time you were assembling the crumb portion, I was thinking, an alternate combination to make it work for KETO. :) Thank you for this video. So many little tidbits of important info-like freezing them first! SMH. Brilliant!

Oh Wow. These are like the Jack-in-the-Box poppers that I love so much. But better and cheaper because home cooking! A bonus is none of the BS of having to deal with lazy, apathetic fast food workers. I wonder if you could do the same with hot pickled carrots?

Tried for superbowl turned out perfect for first try. Freezer tip made all the difference. Barely any leaky cheese also I used shredded but added sour cream to clump. I couldn't form wo. Thanks and I used same brand canned jalepenos seems like being soft helped

That's just so Seaway jalapenos are made to be hot either eaten the way they are or stop being a baby you ruin the whole pepper by taking everything out of it goodbye that would be like making a hamburger without the hamburger meat
