Hi there, I made this yesterday and it was good. I'm making another batch but this time I'm marinating overnight. I noticed this yesterday but since I'm making it again I thought I would ask. In the written ingredients you have garlic powder for the marinade and granulated garlic powder for the fry mix. However when you are talking about what you are adding you say the reverse. There is a difference between granulated and regular so I was curious.

Made this tonight! Absolutely spot on deliciousness! Super crispy coating, chicken perfectly cooked, followed your 7 minutes for drumsticks, 5 minutes for smaller wings for both fries. Husband loved the Asian Twist of the sauce. Served with white jasmine rice and simple salad with Asian sesame dressing. Love your videos and specific tips given along the way!

You are such an amazing cook, your recipes are outstanding and you explain everything so clearly. And you are very sweet to boot. It's a pleasure watching you. I have been watching and copying all your recipes to use them. Thank you so much for doing this. Keep it up, and ignore the nasty people. Some people just love to hate! You're precious.

I saw another korean fried chicken recipe from seonkyounglongest where she mentioned substitutions. If you don't have soju use instead rice vinegar, milk, or VODKA. For spices you can add in curry powder (I used 1 tbsp and it was too much flavor for my hubby so now I just use 1 tsp. Can't wait to try this method! Looks delish!

Hey, just wanted you to know how much you and your expertise mean to me and my family. We have tried some of your recipes and they were all excellent. I love the fact that we get two different types of recipes, Korean and great Mexican food. Thank you so much, may God bless you and yours. Love you Nana Pam

Thank you for this recipe, it is easy to follow, nothing too fancy and cooks easily. And you are absolutely right on the double frying of the chicken! It is much better if you are looking for that fantastic crunchy texture. :D An absolutely delightful meal to me!

Being a fellow Houstonian, do you have a Korean food market you like? Would like to find the fry mix. Would 99 Ranch have it? Or is there another place you know about? Already spend way too much time at HEB, ha, time to expand our horizon.
