Today I am making a delicious lemon loaf cake. The texture is soft and the zest of the lemon flavors the cake wonderfully. The icing is perfect and with a garnish of edible flowers makes this great for parties, bridal or baby showers. Ingredients 1 stick (113 g) salted butter (softened) 3/4 cups (150 g) sugar 1 Tbsp (15 ml) fresh lemon juice 1 tsp vanilla extract 2 large eggs (room temperature) zest of a large lemon 3/4 cup + 2 Tbsp (115 g) all purpose flour 1 tsp baking powder 7. 75 x 3. 75 x 2. 75 or 8. 5 x 4. 5 x 2. 75 Loaf Pan works best with this recipe The loaf baking dish I used in the video was larger BAKE 350 F / 180 C for 45 to 55 minutes ICING 2/3 cup (70 g) confectioner's sugar 1 Tbsp (15 ml ) fresh lemon juice 1/2 tsp lemon zest

I love everything LEMON! I've been procrastinating all week to make a lemon chiffon cake sooooo looks like it wasn't in vain. I will be making this right now as soon as the chill comes off of the eggs. YAY SO EXCITED thanks for sharing

So easy to make. Going to try this one within the next couple of days. I did follow your recipe for fried fish, I used cod, and it was the best fried cod ever!
