I was excited to see this in my feed as it's something from my hometown. To note Chico's doesn't strain their broth and it's honestly one of the things I don't like about eating them. all those tomato skins can sometimes gross me out but I still eat it lol. And yes the cheese has changed over the years but I've made my own chico's and mild cheddar works really well.

I love you to death Angelica but all these ads on such short videos are killing me. Especially when you are trying to watch and make recipe at same time. Even with time stamps to follow it wont let you skip forward to next time stamp without dealing with ads

Simply Mama, I'm also from El Paso and I just wanted to let you know that Chico's Tacos is the worst fast food you could ever possibly have. The only way you could ever eat anything from there is after having a 24 pack of beer.

I'm in TX near SA and I've never heard of Chico's but this looks yummy! I love Colby Longhorn cheese in my enchiladas w/ muenster cheese maybe I'll try this recipe w/ that combo As always, thank you for sharing

They looked delicious. I have never made them that way. I don't know about you but I seem to like the yellow corn tortillas instead of the lighter corn tortillas.

Your version looks way better than chicos tacos. Went there last month not the same. And there flautas not tacos lol sauce/broth needs to be thicker.
