Today I am making stovetop candied yams. These are perfect for a holiday side dish and conveniently made on the stovetop.
Ingredients
3 medium sweet potatoes (300 g peeled and cut)
1 cup (236. 5 ml) water
1 small piece of Ceylon cinnamon stick
1 Tbsp (14 g) unsalted butter
1/2 cup (100 g) dark brown sugar
2 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
1/8 tsp salt
