Today I am going to show 3 of the many ways I make a one-pot sopa de fideo. The weather is getting colder and sopa de fideo can be a hearty soup to keep you warm. It's budget-friendly and can feed many. THis is gonna be good! Ingredients Fideo Con Pollo 2 lbs chicken 1/4 tsp ground cumin 1/4 tsp black pepper 1 tsp seasoned salt 1/2 tsp garlic powder 1/2 tsp onion powder 5 oz box of vermicelli pasta 1/2 onion 2 cloves garlic 32 fl oz water 8 fl oz tomato puree 1 1/2 Tbsp chicken bouillon powder 1/4 tsp ground cumin 1/4 tsp black pepper salt to taste 1 jalapeno (optional) INGREDIENTS Fideo Loco 2 Tbsp cooking oil 7 oz (200 g) Vermicelli pasta 1/2 of a small onion (sliced) 1 lb (454 g ) lean ground beef 1/2 tsp salt 1/4 tsp black pepper 1/2 tsp garlic powder 1/2 tsp onion powder 1/4 tsp ground cumin 3 small potatoes (cubed) 3 medium tomatoes 6 to 7 cups water 2 Tbsp chicken bouillon powder (18 to 20 g) fresh epazote (optional) sprigs of fresh cilantro (optional) salt and pepper to taste 1 to 1 1/2 cups cooked pinto beans or a drained 15 oz can Ingredients Fideo Con Carne 5 oz (142 g) Vermicelli noodles 8 oz (227 g) beef steak meat 1 beef or chicken bouillon cube 1/2 small onion 2 cloves garlic 1/2 tsp ground cumin (optional) My abuela did not want cumin in the sopa 3/4 cup (177 ml) tomato pure 3 1/2 cups (828 ml) water salt and pepper to taste

I'm so glad you shared these recipes. I was just talking to my daughter about how expensive food, vegetables, and fruits have gotten. I told her, well the good thing is, that you can go to the Mexican aisle and buy these little bags of sopa. You can buy 3 little bags for. 88 cents. I told her that she can add any kind of vegetables and you have a nice warm meal. I shared this video to my daughter; hopefully, she'll make one of these meals. I've told my sister's and daughters about Simy Mama's cooking. I think all her dishes are inexpensive and easy to make.

1st time watching yr vids but always meant to. When I saw fideo sopas, I HAD to watch. I used to LOVE that. I always wished I had watched my former MIL cook. i just made fideo loco the other evening because it was cold and rainy, it was soooo good & i have some extra vermicelli. i may be having this twice in one week because your recipes look so good and i ve never had it with chicken. thank you!
