I am going to share the secret to making that red marinade for carne asada. This is what the Mexican meat markets use. This marinade works great for chicken as well. Ingredients 2 lbs of beef skirt the juice of a lemon the juice of a lime 1 1/2 Tbsp cooking oil 3 Tbsp soy sauce 1 tsp garlic powder 1 tsp onion powder 1 tsp salt-free lemon pepper 1 Tbsp ground annatto seeds 1/2 tsp Mexican oregano 1/2 tsp ground cumin 1/2 tsp cracked black pepper

I have a question - have you always used soy sauce in your Mexican recipes? I see it in several of your videos, and I wonder if the soy sauce is influence from meeting your husband, or if growing yo your family would use soy sauce as well. Thanks for the secret ingredient in this video!
