Is your cousin from the South Side of Chicago or Detroit? Growing up, fried fish and spaghetti was a 'Midwestern Friday Thang AND, according to my mom, we shouldn't eat red meat on Friday's (for some religious reason, I believe) so catfish, and whiting fish were mainly on our Friday Family rotation.

Wow! That looks good! I love catfish. And I think I try drizzling honey on my corn bread the next time I bake it. Your cousin is so fortunate to have you cook such a delicious meal for her. That fish is fried to perfection.

Like both I just wouldn t pair them. Just something about fish and pasta that don t mix for me. I do eat pasta with clam sauce. The only thing pasta needs is garlic toast and a simple salad with Italian dressing.

I grew up on this. It s a staple in some black households growing up. The amount of people that turn their nose up at it is hilarious. I think it might be a Midwest thing. I m from Cleveland.

Your cousin asked you to make this, I live in Los Angeles, CA and we almost only ever ate this combination on Friday's. Spaghetti and Fried Fish was a family favorite on Friday's.

What a wonderful combination of foods, thank you for showing how you do the recipe and please also extend thanks to a brilliant idea from your cousin Christina. Family is everything.

I can t think of anything worse, I have an intense dislike of catfish, and smoked sausage, ohh dear, I m not doing too well today I love almost all of your recipes though.

Don't ever add things to a deep frying toward yourself as you see in this video. If it splashes it's boiling oil right in your face and eyes.

Glad to see you didn't waste the sauce left in the jar. Too many creators toss perfectly good food out because they can't be bothered.

It all looks so amazing. I love catfish. I will definitely try this recipe at home one of these days. Thank you for sharing this.
