Im late to comment and get noticed but its worth a try: ) I have been watching Mark for awhile now and have never seen him not like something. Now im sure some of the things he eats are better then others but I have never seen him admittedly say he didn't like something he ate. Im sure its out of respect for the cook that even when he doesn't like something he pretends that its very good anyways. But that doesn't help us viewers who might travel and try some of the places hes eating at. Ive narrowed it down for those that are interested. If his eyes bulge and he says 'wowwwwwwwww' its most likely really good food If his eyes dont bulge and he doesn't say 'wowwwwww' then it probably tasted like crap and we should steer clear of that place: D Anyone else have any theories?

Love your videos When we visited Bangkok in January, we mapped out many places based on your recommendations. Thanks so much for all of them We're living in Mongolia at the moment, so this caught our eye and was a fun video to watch. The restaurant has to be named after the grill, because Mongolians don't eat lamb (at all, only mutton, etc. If it were Mongolian food, she would never cut the fat off, and no sauce; most sauces are just the juices from the meat. The name in Japanese is closer to Mongolia's name for him too - Chingiis Khan. You should come to visit here - it's not as full of flavors as Thai or Japanese, but it's fun. There are so many things you can say, Only in Mongolia about. Look forward to more videos, wherever you go

Hi Mark I hope you read these comments. First, I'm a big fan of yours and I watched most of your videos if not all. I have a great respect for you because you are very knowledgeable on food and culture of the places you visit. For being a Japanese native I can say that your take on the Japanese food is very accurate. Looks like the place you visit is a great one and I appreciate the information you give us nonetheless. Please keep up with the great work. P. S. My Lao girlfriend and I will be visiting Laos in July and we will be flying into Bangkok and go around Laos and Thailand. If we could meetup somewhere in the area that would be awesome: ) oh by the way we live in Houston suburb in Texas.

This Genghis Khan BBQ concept dining has already been done long ago around Asia in 90s or earlier. Back then, the trend was these restaurants were typically call Mongolian BBQ, with various types of marinated meat and vegetables for grilling other than just lamb. Some also incorporated steamboat besides BBQ. Much of Northern China and beyond eat lots of grilled lamb meat cooked in various ways.

I love your videos, my question is, and not to get too personal. With all the traveling you do, how do you avoid or deal with travelers diarrhea? I only ask because I am in America and I am planning to travel to Zambia in the near future, and travelers diarrhea is one of my main concerns

Mark to avoid cross contamination use a different chopstick to eat than the one you handle raw meat with. It is very important not to use the same chopsticks
