Today I m hanging out with the one and only KF Seetoh, a legend of Singapore street food and hawker culture. We re going to take you on a born and bred food tour of Singapore - dishes that were invented right here in Singapore. Bak Kee Teochew Satay Bee Hoon - First we headed to Bukit Merah, also known as Red Hill. It s a huge neighborhood complex, market and hawker center. There s a massive selection of food to choose from, but KF Seetoh took me first to eat satay bee hoon, or thin angel hair vermicelli covered in seafood and pork, and a ladle of creamy peanut sauce. Hong Seng Curry Rice - Within the same Red Hill hawker centre you ll find Hong Seng Curry Rice, where you can enjoy another popular Singapore street food - Hainanese curry rice. Geylang Lorong 29 Hokkien Mee - Continuing on this food tour we drove over to Geylang to eat one of the best versions of Hokkien fried prawn mee, a stir fried noodle dish that s one of the most beloved in Singapore. They make it by the batch and we had the chance to see the entire process of how it s made. Delicious! The Original Vadai - Next up over to Joo Chiat to eat at the Original Vadai - a Sri Lankan origin - yet transformed in Singapore to be more light and fluffy, totally different texture and flavor. They are so addictive and one of the best things about them is that you bite a green chili and then follow it with bites of the prawn vadai. Sha Zah Confectionery - Finally to complete this food tour with KF Seetoh we headed over to Sha Zah Confectionery for their giant curry puffs. A perfect way to end this delicious Singapore street food tour! Thank you again to KF Seetoh for taking me around. Be sure to follow his food adventures: and if you re in NYC, go eat at Urban Hawker center!

the huge amount of singaporean fried hokkien noodle really reminds me of the famous indian muslim fried noodles at the esplanade food court in Penang near Fort Cornwallis. next time when you come to penang again, do try out the famous Mamak fried squid noodle dish from the Hameed Pata stall where you get the spiciness in the aftertaste. it will be nice if we eat that fried noodle dish accompanied by the boiled ladyfingers.

Brother so much of praise and praise for everything you are eating make your vlogs losing credibility. Seems these are scripted acting. A person on earth cant love every food. food review include negative remarks too including the deficiency in cooking.
Your artificial plastic smile has now been exposed

I am staying at Katong/ Joo chia area and the prawn noodle stall is just a few mins walk from my place. It s my husband favourite including their fried omelette. I didn t know that there is such a curry puff and prawn donut stalls at Joo Chiat. Have to check that out tomorrow.

For Muslim visitors to Singapore, the first 3 dishes are not halal, but if you ask around there are Muslim hawkers that do a halal version of the same dish. It s debatable as to which taste better, but that s Singapore for you

Liked KF Seetoh line, 34: 08. .. being an entrepreneur, you say ' yes' first, then figure out how [ you're ] going to do it

This gentleman, Seetoh made this video a DELIGHT. Usually I watch everything you do expecting your take on certain foods. This man had amazing knowledge of EXPRESSLY Singaporian dishes. and it was extraordinary. Thank You!

Mark doesn't get the Asian food sharing vibe yet. Real Asian person transfers food from shop stick, to spoon, to mouth for hygiene. Mark just plants his chopsticks straight to the mouth like a real Yankee doodle.

As a Singaporean I'm so glad to see KF Seetoh introduce all the food in less well-known (not the chinatown complex, hong lim or golden mile) hawker centres that's locally loved!
