Khanom Jeen ( ) - Southern Thailand is known for its Khanom Jeen (, a type of rice noodles eaten with a variety of different Thai curry on top, and with a host of different toppings and vegetables that you can eat on the side and top of your bowl of curry noodles. It s extremely popular as a fast and easy Thai street food. Today, we re in the Phang Nga ( ) province of southern Thailand, known for their curry, and I can t wait to share this epic curry noodles with you. Khanom Jeen Baan Bang Kan ( ) - - The first curry noodles restaurant we went to was a little outside of the city of Phang Nga, in a nice relaxing lush area. I had two bowls of curry noodles to get me started khanom jeen gaeng tai pla ( ) - a curry of fermented fish viscera, and khanom jeen nam ya ( ) - a coconut milk based curry. Both were outstanding. The best part of this restaurant was the finely sliced torch ginger that they gave to us as we were eating - that really bumped up the flavor of every bite. Price - 30 THB ( 0. 92) per bowl Khanom Jeen Na San Jao ( ) - - This is the most legendary, most well known khanom jeen restaurant in Phang Nga, and located right in the town. Since it s so famous I was a little worried it would be over hyped. But I was wrong, it held up to its name, I was truly impressed by the outstanding flavor and spices of their curries, and their insane 24 toppings selection to choose from - all spread out like a buffet across communal tables. Again, I ordered a bowl of Khanom Jeen Nam Ya ( ) - a coconut milk based Thai curry, and next a bowl of Khanom Jeen Gaeng Ba ( ) - a jungle herbal spicy curry. Again for were exceptional. If there s one Thai street food meal to eat when you re in Phang Nga (, Thailand, it s got to be khanom jeen. It s a favorite meal for many, and these two restaurants will thrill your taste buds

Hey Mark, This took me a few months to get the courage to ask but here goes. Is there any possible way you can update your playlists and can you make them play from beginning to end instead of end to beginning lol?
You have so many wonderful videos/story's that I can't wait to watch but I'm having a very difficult time trying to watch them all. If it wasn't for that red bar that shows under the thumbnail of the video I wouldn't be able to remember which ones I've watched lol. Your playlists make things so much easier for me and others but so many of your videos are missing or haven't been made into one yet. You have an amazing way of bring people together and I can't wait to watch more of your inspirational videos. I would be so grateful if you would consider my request: )
Stay Safe Mark + Family + Mark Fans: )
If you would like to see the playlist updated plz plz hit the thumbs up: )

Hi Mark,
Love your vloggings about foods, cultures, and places. Hope you and your family are well.
Wonder how is Covid-19 status in different parts of Thailand. I noticed that not many people are seriously wearing masks or doing social distancing with easing of restrictions in SEA.
Maybe a lot we don t know about this mysterious nature of virus. If you include some short interviews in your clips how local people perceive of this virus outbreak and how they are prepared for future outbreak, it would be educational to international fans too.

I bought some books from Mark's online store over a month ago and I haven't heard if he is going to ship them out or if there's a hold on international mail right now or what. Does anyone know? Or has anyone bought from his store recently? I hate to have to file a PayPal claim but it's been a month and I haven't heard anything. I don't mind waiting but I almost get the impression he isn't managing his store anymore. :(

1. we know you ask or pay for those extra plates, fine! But we strongly suspect that in your need for showboating, they take away your excesses and feed it to those natives. Shame on you!

I think you can have this type of noodles even in South India, specially in Kerala & Tamil Nadu, I think they are called PUTTU & mostly eaten with either plain white sugar or khurma

That is the first time I hear you say: taste first before adding condiments. So often chilliflakes and hot sauce are added immediately.
Does Mica eat all that as well?
