One Incredible Day in Boracay

Apart from my camera falling apart after the ATV ride, this was an one incredible day in Boracay Antons YouTube 00: 29 Breakfast - For breakfast we started off at Discovery Shores Hotel, and we ate the breakfast buffet. The breakfast was alright, but a little small, and a little crowded, but nevertheless a good way to start the day. I especially enjoyed the smoked bangus. 1: 45 Walk on White Sand Beach - After breakfast we started off walking down White Sand Beach, one of the most famous main attractions of Boracay - a 3 km stretch of white sand and beautiful beach. What I like most is that you can just walk down the beach and enjoy the 2: 16 Willys Rock - One of the most famous landmarks in Boracay is Willys Rock, a chunk of coral that sits near the coastline. When its high tide the rock is submerged in water, but when its low tide the rock sits in the sand. At this point I was hot and ready to take a swim as well. 2: 54 Taho Beach Food - As we were swimming, Anton flagged down a vendor selling taho, soft silken tofu. It made a good beach street food. 4: 33 Calamansi muffin at Real Coffee Shop - As we were walking along Station 2 beach in Boracay, we stopped off at a place called Real Coffee, for a quick cup of coffee and a calamansi muffin. The muffin tasted a lot like lemon cake, and the coffee, was too weak for me, but alright. Real coffee is known as one of the original spots in Boracay, especially famous for their calamansi muffins. 7: 13 Lunch at Sands Restaurant, Discovery Shores Boracay - For lunch we returned to Discovery Shores and had an amazing lunch at their Sands restaurant. They prepared all Filipino food, all of which was extremely good. I really enjoyed the kilawin, Filipino style ceviche, the lamb shank caldereta, and the Bacolod kansi, a beef shank soup. Everything was delicious, one of the better and best quality Filipino food meals Ive ever had. 9: 22 ATV Ride to the lookout viewpoint of Boracay / Paraw sailing ride - In the afternoon, continuing on this one day in Boracay, we took an ATV tour to one of the highest points on Boracay to see the view. It was a bit expensive. Unfortunately, this is where my camera broke. 12: 33 Jonahs Milkshakes - For afternoon snack, we stopped by Jonahs Milkshakes and had an avocado mango milkshake, which was delicious, along with a chori burger. 14: 20 Boodle Fight for Dinner - For dinner, we returned back to the hotel where I was introduced to a Filipino feast called a boodle fight. All the food was placed in the middle of the table, and we all shared our dinner together as a family - it was amazing, both the food and the company. Disclosure: We were invited to stay at Discovery Shores Boracay, so we didnt pay for our stay. But everything in this video, and all thoughts are my own. I'm filipino born in boracay and im so proud to mark weins to travel for foods my father always watching mark weins video since he's travel on jerusalem he is always watching in tv he open he's cellphone then connect his device to TV and search mark weins and im so bless to have mark weins in this world and my father always happy to watching mark weins video. and he always saying i salute this guy, he travel for foods and he said mark weins have a good heart for people and we love you mark and i just watching your old video's to show my father you're done in here in boracay to travel ty mark we love you

Hi Mark, I'm a fan of how you create your vlogs I really am, but somehow, Anton is kinda ruining it for me. I know he's your friend but him being around your videos doesn't really help with the content. I really think your better of not having him around in your videos. You're more knowledgeable about the food rather than Anton given that he's supposed to be helping you to be more informed. Also, he's not articulate enough and he's having challenges expressing himself which is kinda of a minus for me when I'm watching your videos. That's just me though. Thank you and more power

Mark did mention the very ridiculous abusive prices. He should be honest. Kind of warn the foreigners to beware of the ridiculous prices in Boracay. Their prices are good if you are a millionaire, but if you are just an above average income, you should not go there, the prices will empty your wallet before you finish your stay. A shrimp would cost you around 1. 25 EACH. NOWHERE ELSE IN THE WORLD IS AS EXPENSIVE. TOURISTS BEWARE

It has been almost 4 yrs. now since this video has been uploaded but i enjoyed watching it. Boracay now has been transformed after shutdown for more than 6 mos. The government made a great deal of effort to clean the whole area because of sewerage issues, garbages and all. Such extremely poor sanitation resulted from abuse of tourists and commercial owners I hope to see the new Boracay soonest. Great video though

Hi Mark You should visit the southern part of Philippines like in Zamboanga City where you can have an authentic food such like the Curacha crab. Thats one of a kind crab that you can just find it in Southern part of Philippines. Also more spicy food in Sulu places. I love watching your videos specially the spicy food youre featuring. More videos to watch from your chanel. God bless.

Philippines has many incredible islands with great beaches and spectacular sceneries but travelling can be quite a drag like crowded terminals, late planes or buses. no ferry boats because of typhoon. if you have just one week in Philippines go to Palawan islands. if you want culture go to Cebu city with old Spanish infrastructures with many surrounding beautiful beaches

Try to visit boracay now. it totality changed to paradise. because of our good president. No PartyNo liquorNo beds in the shoreHotel should comply to government environment standard. When you made this video the beach was dirty, most of the fronting hotels placed their dirty pipelines in to the beach. Now check boracay. if you want solemn, peaceful go to boracay.

Boracay used to be nice in the 1990s although I suppose if you've never visted you may still find it impressive. Regardless of that Filipino people are wonderful unlike those in some neighbouring countries who so often are just rude and ignorant. As for the beach, it's nice but It's no longer worth the time and expense to get there

Great location there Mark, this was me and Emilies honeymoon destination 18 years ago, sadly its been overrun with tourists and has had to be shut down for 6 months on account of the drainage and sewage issues that have accumulated and not addressed, dont know whether its reputation will ever survive after the cleanup.
