From my parents I learned to eat all what we put on our plate and never to spoil food. The leftovers were for the animals. That, and because of the price diffence compared with eating at home is one reason why I don't go eating in restaurants so much. Plus I don't have a job in a city or so. When we were young our parents only took us to a restaurant once a year. This explanation of Hong Kong food places is very good though. I hope these dishes also get available in good priced vegatarian / veganistic food in the (nearby) future. We only have one world and there are already so many people. My personal time in Hong Kong was very short but I can remember the good quality food.

As a Local, I do say that there are more Local Foods that he could have went to and ate. While the sandwiches at the start were a staple, it's reserved for afternoon tea. If you wanted to be a bit more traditional, you'd have congee for breakfast and a deep-fried dough stick. Bamboo Noodles aren't really made with the Bamboo anymore since it'd take a lot more effort and little Hole in the Walls don't have the time. They're still tasty, just not made with Bamboo Overall amazing Video

all you can taste in HK from the food you listed is MSG (for example, in the broth of the bamboo noodles. The beef in the sandwich is tender because they use baking soda and water to tenderize the cheap cuts of beef chemically. The beef has lost all its natural beefy flavor as a result. Can't believe you call yourself a food vlogger when you cannot really tell the quality of food. Very disappointing

Mark Weins is the first Westerner, a long with Anthony Bouridain who has represented and showcased Asia so well. Never before have we seen such a classy, rich, friendly, clean and one of the best and unique food cultures in the world. Thank you Mark Weins for showing us the real Asia and not the scary, dark and cold place the media likes to shove down our throats. Asia is amazing.

You have great shows with details of the countries you visit and perfect video shots of each and every place you visit, those aerial shots are great too. It's so good, that I don't have to travel anywhere but the only thing I'm missing out on is the food not all of it but some. Keep up the good work Mark and it's also nice that you have your wife and baby traveling with you.

Well I must say that, there is many better place for wonton noodles soup, such as Mak Noodles. Furthermore, you have to put some vinegar over the wonton before eating, you should have put lesser of chilly instead of destroying the broth, that's Hong Kong way to eat wonton noodles soup by the way. Anyway you should have tried the street food snacks of Hong Kong too.

The old men who use bamboo rod to knead noodles are retiring. Young men does not like this profession because of the hard labour work and working environment, etc. Mark, please go to North Point ( North Point is in the Hong Kong Island) Chun Yeung Street, there are markets you can big seafood, vegetables and Hakka food markets.

These food videos are so tempting. Great food and plenty of choices in Hong Kong. I just wonder if some places might serve whole wheatBreads or pastries, though refined flour is more traditional there. There are travelers who have a more restricted diet that confine them toMore whole grains. But all of this looks so tasty.
