Ayutthaya Day Tour - HUGE Freshwater Shrimp in Thailand MUDD: Thanks for the video, Mark. I was in Ayuthaya 2 weeks ago and really wanted to go to this restaurant. I gave the address to our driver and he wouldnt take us there saying it was too far so he took us to another restaurant next to a river. 2500 baht (80USD) for one prawn so we turned it down. The driver then dropped us off at a cute cafe and said it was very cheap lol

I know this video is old but, man that is messed up, you put your wife in the very back of the vehicle and your sister in the middle. You really don't have much respect or affection for your wife. You have more affection for food. Why did you marry in the first place? Great videos, great foodie but that's about it.

Hi Mark, as amazing those freshwater shrimp look (and taste) I am sure you are aware of the increased chances of bacteria associated with shellfish especially compared to their marine saltwater cousins. Please be extra cautious how the food is prepared at these local open market hawker stalls. Enjoy all your videos

Hey Mark I think you love the fresh water prawns. I can figure it out the way you nod your head. Those prawns were lovely. Come to Indian. I will cook them for you personally with my mom's special homemade masala and a lot of spices with em sure you will love it. Ping me back on FB Facebook. com/catchdjaks

INDIA CONNECTIONAyuthya comes from the Sanskrit word Ayodhya, an ancient city in Northern India, supposedly the birth place of the Hindu avatar Rama. Thai food and culture are heavily influenced by India. Besides, Buddhism, too, travelled to Thailand from India. Rama is also venerated in Indonesia,

Oh my, I love this video coz I've been to Ayutthaya, but I haven't tried the fresh water prawns. So sad I missed it. Maybe next time. I'm gonna come back, definitely I'm gonna explore a little bit more. Thank you for the beautiful video.

Hmmm. The day at Ayutthaya looks quite impressive. As always, you make every dish sound enticingly scrumptious Also, you are quite conscientious in your choice of words for conveyance - even your apprehension never comes out Take care
