You give so much information and your videos basically all of them youre so positive and the way you engage with your audience a majority of the time I feel as if Im there with you, eating and exploring. Your small family and yourself are lovely. Ive never been hooked to any form of continuous series apart from Scandal with Kerry Washington as Olivia Pope, but your videos Ive found that Im continuously checking to see if youve released something new & Ive literally started from your first videos up until this with the aim being to watch all of them. Youre such a positive person & the way you interact with your audience come across as genuine (from my point of view. Mark, please stop giving the same reaction to most everything you eat. That wide eyed dip of the head accompanied by oh yeah isn't truthful. Tell it like it is. You can't be so enamoured with everything you try. Get a little reality in your posts because people will take your recommendations where they eat when they travel and most of these folks aren't sponsored by airlines/hotels as you are fortunate enough to do. I rally enjoy your delivery style. You show some of the culture. architecture and places that are must see in the places you visit. Just get some Gordon Ramsey or Anthony Bourdain type of honesty. Stop fooling people who will spend their hard earned to go to a place you have been only to be disappointed. I hope you take the time to read this comment. Thanks.

Absolutely love your work Mark, but maybe you should just do just one video of when it all goes wrong, to give people some more realistic expectations of what they can and will find here. LOL, i wonder how long it will be before someone posts. Because of your videos, i came half-way around the world to try the delicious (looking) foods you highlighted, but mostly found food: stone cold, very little and poor quality meat, big chunks of fat and chicken skin added(yuk)stuff tasting borderline spoilt due to sitting out of refridgeration all day. and what i imagine must have been huge amounts of MSG added

Amazing vid as always, love getting a feel for Thailand cultures as well as the food. Does anyone know if curries like this are cooked fresh that morning? The standard guide books say things like don't eat anything that's been sitting around - I really want to try these style eateries next time I go to Thailand but am a bit worried about getting ill. Also I really wanna know about the fresh uncooked herbs that are on the side - what do they taste like and are they supposed to be eaten in combination with certain foods? Big love.

Hey Mark, my name is Cass, I am a guy not sure why Youtube give me a woman's name of some person I do not know. I have been living in South America since 2012. Thai food is my favorite, not much of that here except in Lima. Planning to relocate to Thailand this year or at least visit first. Was not going to travel to that part of Thailand just for the Coconut BBQ chicken because I figure I could make that myself but this curry stand has me sold, so it looks like I will try to find both. i prefer your description of the snails, in England they are called Winkles lol, popular old time snack in pubs over here, we used to get them in a pint glass, so when the local fishermen came round we would have a pint to go with our pint, same as prawns, or what you call shrimp, with the onset of health and safety laws they stopped coming round, but everyone remembers them, love your vlogs,

I read one thai recipe website on southern thai curries. It mentioned that Thai Muslims in the south sometimes use yogurt for curry. Have you ever found any such curries in Southern Thailand? Are there different types of Muslim curries in southern Thailand?

Wow that's a lot of dishes. Do they heat up the dishes for you when you eat in? I had some curry dishes at Or Tor Kor market where they also have those pre-cooked dishes. The dishes were all cold which was a real disappointment because I like my curries hot.
