We re going to the fish market to get a Huge Tasmanian King Crab and Chef Dan Hong is going to cook it 3 ways! Sydney Fish Market - After meeting up with Chef Dan, we met up with Alex from the Sydney Fish market who showed us around and gave us a very interesting brief about the Sydney Fish market and the quality of seafood that auctioned. Red Claw Seafoods - At the fish market we visited Red Claw Seafood who specialize in some of the best live seafood in all of Australia and where Chef Dan gets his supply. We were after their insanely huge Tasmanian king crab! Mr. Wong - After getting our crab, we headed back to Chef Dan s restaurant, Mr. Wong, for some dim sum, roast duck, and mostly importantly, the fresh giant Tasmanian King Crab! It was without a double one of the best crabs, both in natural product and preparation that I ve ever had. It was so big, Chef Dan had to cook three different dishes with it.

This was the best I have ever seen a crab cooked three ways especially the head insides which I love it is soft sweet & beautiful. Love Balmain Bugs yum, the duck looked beautiful with the plum sauce, fish, tofu with pork mince, chilli etc. All so beautifully done, I don't know where these two put all that food lol, but there was a lot left over, I wonder if he went back the next day for seconds. Thanks for sharing this video it was awesome, & I'm watering at the mouth wanting to be there to eat this with you both. I think I'm now turning green with envy.

I no longer watch him for several reasons. 1. he can't leave the house without his ball and chain ( wife and brat) 2. That kid should be in school and no home schooling don't count. 3 his limited vocabulary oh wow out of thousands of dishes nothing he dislikes no credibility. hes got the eye roll down pat. Btw Chinese fisherman break 30 laws to continue to fish out the oceans. hes never spoke on it.

Not since the days of IC Japan have I seen such supreme quality and quantity. This is like A5 XXX phood phorn and that's high praise I'm my book. I must admit my current situation is liable to preclude me from ever getting to eat like that again (I did eat a 7lb lobster in Mexico 5 ways once ) but I can't look away. Good TV

I watch your show from time to time. I like it very much, and I like how you're very respectful of all the culinary and cultural differences, you encounter.
I have a question: Do you ever come across food you don't like? What do you do, when you taste something that doesn't agree with your tastebuds?

If you go to Australia you really need to travel and experience more local food astwell, go to the smaller cities/Towns, idk why most people go to Sydney/Melbourne and think they've visited Australia as a whole cause they seen two cities. Lol, great series none the less.

Curious to know if the fishing industry are doing anything about the rapid dwindling numbers of species of fishes that happening in our oceans? I like eating seafood just as much as the next person. Are we doing so responsibly? Or do does any care?

Now that's extraordinary.
this is got to be marks best Adventure so far in Australia.
Chef Dan really put himself on the world map today.
I shudder to think how much that meal would cost, it looks like chef took care of the tab today.

Normally, I'd be so jealous of all that crab meat, but I've been wanting some Peking duck for a while, so I'm jealous of you getting that amazing looking roast duck!

So can you the public get that sized claws at the markets in Sydney?
Cooked?
Or do we book at His RESTURANT and be assured we would get claws that size?

Us Aussies really are spoilt for seafood. Nothing better than a hot summers day with a beer in hand digging into some prawns, crab & lobster.

Can t go wrong with Dan! Mr Wong is higher tier establishment but does not spare any expense to quality. Top 3 restaurant in Sydney in my books.

I LOVE that seafood market. I WILL love Mr. Wongs Restaurant!
I am glad you tried some of the crab by itself and then with spices!

Mark if you were a pitch man for a product (besides your pepper brand) that product would be world famous. but please don't do that
