South of Melbourne where the bay opens into the sea is one of the great fishing spots in Australia, especially for local Bluefin Tuna. Today we re going fishing, then coming back to the house to have a beach house, backyard barbecue! From Melbourne we caught a helicopter down to Sorrento, and from there we boarded the boat and sailed into the open sea. We were lucky with perfect conditions and while the water in these parts can often be rough, today it was calm. We were lucky to be with very experienced fishers and after some searching, we finally landed a small tuna. What a thrilling experience! We headed back to Sorrento for a barbecue, and taste of some of the freshest tuna sashimi I ve ever had. Ironically, tuna is best when it ages a few days, so we didn t eat the whole fish, but we did try it! HANNIBAL: Mark why freeze your arse off in Victoria. come over to WA in Kimberleys. its dry season. better weather, beaches, food even fishing. its not wild West for no reason

Now this is what you call Better Living! Every bit of this fishing trip was just perfection to the core from the views to the dining on the Bayside. I can only imagine how heaven taste like & this is a prime example. Mouth watering bite size delicacy with a tickle of wine to quench the pallet is a taste of class. Wow Mark! You really did it on this one for sure! Nice snag on the bluefin btw! Good times, great food, & phenomenal vibes is what makes life all worth it. Appreciate you Mark for sharing your impeccable experience. Cheers Mate!

Mark, be honest, this is the best country for food that you've visited? The diversity of people and their cuisine, the fresh quality produce available, the friendliness of everyone, the service and the beauty of the country, it can't be beaten

I was born near Sorrento and have been fishing my entire life in the same places. After watching Mark for all these years, it truly warms my heart to finally see him and his family enjoying my backyard.

Not many of us will ever get to helicopter down to Sorrento even though we live in Victoria! You are spoilt and have made a living by just eating and travelling!

I read somewhere that bluefin tuna are an extremely endangered species hence encouraging the harvest of farmed tuna. Is this accurate?

The Tuna, the Lobster and fish, with the beautiful scenery really catapulted and transported me right there to that place.
