My wife and i should be there july 1 after a 7 year lag staying in the Philippines, after 45 years decided to retire here. I remember Ferry When i was in school at USF and worked at the SP building across the Hyatt, when the Ferry was actually a pier, left of the clock tower ODD docks, right of the tower, EVEN. love those days oh and REDS JAVA HOUSE -

Are there any oysters that don-t have any sand in them? I don-t mind eating oysters but I just don-t like the grainy sandy taste. I-ve seen people eat oysters without the sandiness but everytime I try one it always has sand in it. Sooo if anyone knows any oysters where it-s cleaned and the sand is taken out please let me know

Before oyster was one of the cheapest shellfish and nowadays because of supply and demand it cost more than any shellfish out there! I saw him sucking one two or three oyster that's all! Feels like he is addicted to oyster when he is stoned! And when you are high there is no way you can eat that much in one sitting!

As someone who-s been a chef and worked on a farm (pork) I would not want him on the boat. As a chef I took pride in learning seafood especially oysters and learning how fast those farmer have to move in a day was eye opening. I would have tossed him left him on the shore the second he said he didn-t have gloves.

I wish I could eat these but I'm horribly allergic. -sigh- I'm allergic to all things tropical. Shell fish, pineapple, i hat ethe taste of coconut and I cant swim. My mom would joke that i mustive done something terrible to the ocean/tropics in my previous life. So In this life i'm being punished for it in this one.

I guess i shouldnt waste time and energy complaining but its pretty annoying when people drink oysters from the shell. I grew up in the south eating steamed oysters and we just kinda grab em with the knife and eat them. Theres no point in slurping from the shell. It doesnt taste different or better.

San Francisco Bay used to be the free food bank for natives. -Shellmound street- in Emeryville is named for the mounds of shells that were piled up by the wetland shoreline. hungry natives just had to walk down to the shore line and scoop out there meal.
