I will never understand why on God's green earth people peel a potato, carrot, rutabaga, etc? --It is where the root/soil minerals are kept. --What a waste; and, yes, that includes mashed potatoes, fries, oven baked or fried, roasted, Jojo or Scalloped, topping a Shepard's Pie, etc. --Why? What a waste of minerals/nutrition. --

This was so interesting! Last time I looked for a Japanese curry recipe all I got was ones with pre-made paste in it. --Does anyone know what's in that curry powder? Is it just the regular stuff or is there a Japanese variety? -I love the pie face on the refrigerator lol. --Thank you very much. ----

I like it. A real, home recipe with whatever-s in your fridge and the cupboard. I never think to put apple in my curries, sounds good, and I-ve got some curry paste lying around somewhere. right, dinner sorted!

This was the first dish I learned when I decided to learn to cook and start getting healthy in college. My wife and I eat it at least 1-2x per month almost a decade later.
