In the first episode of our MUNCHIES Guide to Las Vegas, host Braydon Szafranski-a pro skateboarder and Vegas native-kicks off our visit by showing us the side of town not often visited by the 40 million tourists who flock to Sin City every year. If there-s one thing locals know best, it-s food. And in Vegas, food often comes with a side of T&A, so Braydon and a few friends head to their favorite strip club buffet at Larry Flynt-s Hustler Club for a nice selection of chicken strips, dipping sauces, and of course, naked ladies. Vegas locals also know that some of the best food and drinks are found off the Strip. Braydon visits Lotus of Siam, one of Las Vegas- culinary gems, for arguably the best Thai food outside of Thailand, prepared by James Beard Award-winning chef Saipin Chutima. To wash it all down, Braydon takes us downtown to

Im a chef in Las Vegas, and James Beard is not the Oscars for food lmao. Its just an award for chefs who cant achieve Michelin stars. so its much much easier to get, and the funny part is you pay to get chosen for the James Beard Award. Nice try at promoting your business though Asian chick.

I've lived in Vegas for 10 years, watched the whole series and it hardly showed any great local finds outside of Fremont and the Strip. I can say that container park is awesome, definitely would suggest it. Also that pig farm is hated by everyone. You can smell it from miles away.

Lotus of Siam definitely got an upgrade, I always saw it in the nice districts when I'd go across town and thought it looked familiar. After re watching this video I saw that they probably gained a lot more publicity and gotten a better spot in town!

Vegas the scum of the usa. I live in Nevada and have been to Las Vegas many times. It's literal trash everywhere. I've seen shops where you can rent rims for the night. It's like a 3rd world country and people ball out for one day when paychecks hit

We sample Hunter S. Thompson-s favorite bourbon at Atomic Liquors, try some dangerously delicious cocktails at Bin 702 at the Container Park, and get down with some boozy yoga at Velveteen Rabbit before a sugar-filled nightcap at O Face Doughnuts.

Desert Breeze home of DBK. oh man, I remember going there almost daily as a teenager. I can not get enough of this show. Bringing me back to my childhood and teenage years. Thank you for that! Keep this show going. It is awesome!

-Vegas is one of the best cities in the world because everyone wants to come here- --Nah dude. People want to go there, party for a week, and then go back to their normal lives. No one really cares about what happens off The Strip.

The first atomic bomb test was in New Mexico in 1945, the first test in Nevada, at the Nevada test site was in 1951. Plus, Thompson had a couple of favorite whiskeys: mainly Wild Turkey and Chivas Regal.

Las Vegas is cool but I feel like most locals are stuck up and boring. I get home to an empty neighborhood everyday as if people just work and hide from the sun. Los Angeles definitely has a friendlier vibe

Lotus of Siam is unique because it is Southern Thai food rather than the Northern thai - Bangkok variety we usually see in America. I really hope southern thai becomes a trend and it becomes easier to get.
