I'll say right off the bat this was not one of my favorite episodes. I definitely prefer to watch a chef that is a little rough around the edges who shows the viewer authentic, low-brow, delicious food. However, I must say I do not think that this guy deserves to take the heat that he is taking. I think he was being genuine, not pretentious, in his commentary. From my perspective, it seems like he chooses to think of food more in terms of art, focusing on creativity in addition to just flavor. Paintings are creative and please the eye. Music is creative and pleases the ear. Why can't food be unique, out of the box, and follow the same guidelines as other mediums of art? It is just another perspective, and I don't think you can fault him for it.

Ok, I dont think the characters in this episode did that bad. bit I see what most of the comments try to explain to munchies. Go, get some real characters in the great gastro scene in north america, don't just take 80% doucebags or average assholes. Munchies, you can do better, we all know that! I always loved your Chefs night out idea, there were a lot of episodes which made me laugh and actually wanting to eat in specific restaurants. Get your ass up!

a couple things. -If the video was made to make the viewers hate the people featured. -good job. You did just that. You should have stuck that cringy opening, THAT THEY ASKED TO BE CUT, at the end after the viewers got to know them. look at the comments. other people hate it. im sure that guy hates it. -Was this made entirely out of B-Roll footage? nice job! -I guess the footage of people who liked the food just went missing in editing.

After going to a bunch of bars and/or restaurants they come back to their own restaurant where, mysteriously it seems, all of their employees just LOVE to hang out. when it's closed. on their own time. voluntarily. Hey guys, what do you wanna do this weekend? I know! Let go hang out with the boss!

i want to say that most of these episodes are fun. the idea of the show is great, but executed on a level that misses sometimes. the personalities are the driving force, and the stories. this one, the story of the chef at felix was better than the main chefs story. this young guy is interesting, for sure, but his laid back personality couldnt carry the show.

I don't get all the negativity in the comments, Chef's Night Out comment sections are usually a break from that horrible internet tradtion of bringing everyone down via a keyboard. I for one liked these guys! How would you feel if people insulted your friends for just being themselves! The world is shit enough, we should bring eachother up not down.

You hang out with people of like mind, so for you people judging them as hipsters and obnoxious douchebags. they are not the kind of people you would hang around with, so truthfully you have no right to judge them. if they rub you the wrong way stop watching the video and move on to something else.

That girl is unbearable. High pitched hipsterness with to redeeming quality. This is the closest I've thought about leaving a human to die in the desert, and I believe no one deserves such a fate. Her persona is that bad. If she were to spawn a child with a fellow hipster, humanity would suffer.

I like this episode just because Chef Miles brings his friends that are OUTSIDE of the food/restaurant industry. In most of the episodes the guest chef totes around other chefs or those in the business--friends and sometimes it feels a little forced and a bit fake when they interact.

it wouldn't have been cringey watching this episode if the chef went alone or with somebody from the kitchen. I could see my brain from too much eye rolling every time his friends opened their mouths. Trying too hard to be cool and funny. It's was annoyingggaaahhh! Lol
