We're swapping out Buffalo sauce for fish sauce on our wings from now on. Chef Erling Wu-Bower of Chicago's Pacific Standard Time makes his favorite version (with ranch, of course) in the MUNCHIES Test Kitchen. Stick around and he-ll even show you how to properly eat -em, clear down to the bone

I have an issue with his liberal incorrect usage of the term -Yoink- - I noticed he used the term after placing something in a fridge. That is incorrect vernacular! - You can't just use that word willy-nilly for any purpose! It very much haz special specific meaning! GET IT RIGHT! If I walked over to you and snatched up them delicious chicken wings from you THEN I would have the RIGHT to say -YOINK! -, but not when placing things OR FOR ANY OTHER PURPOSE OTHER THAN SNATCHING/STEALING PEOPLES SHIT. Guys. Use -Yoink- correctly and safely please, OK? Thank you.

If I was making these, I'd make the chicken wings as I cook out and thicken the sauce so that when the chicken is ready (without flour) I'd just put them into a bowl, pour on the thick sticky sauce and toss. Not a fan of overcooking the chicken like that, they can get a little dry and not as nice if you cook em too long.

Seriously one of the best how-to cooking vids I've ever seen on YouTube. He has a great laid back personality. Explains the steps, but also gives good reasons why each one adds to the dish. Also, those wings are amazing! Sweet, salty, kinda stinky, meaty. I want to eat some right now!

For us Asian people, we put fish sauce and other freaking SPICES. Well because different textures and different taste. Sweet, sour, salty, bitter, spicy, and stinky. We eat alot of food with alot of tastes and it's amazing.

I have been trying to figure out how to replicate the amazing garlic chicken wings served by Hue Ky Mi Gia in Seattle for close to eight years, and this has given me the best insight into how to do that at home EVER.

I love this host because he was super chill like others have said, but he was also really easy to follow and his directions were easy to understand too. I hope to see him on here again! :D

I'm like 3 months late but this is a goddamn good video and a cool dude with a great recipe. Much respect to anyone who pirahna strips their wings like that.

Not only did he teach some of how to cook a simple, delicious wing. he also taught some of you folks how to properly CLEAN a wing while eating it.

Can never understand people using a dip sauce on well seasoned chicken wings. There's already so much flavor. Oh well, as they say, to each his own.
