The Armenian deli is totally using Turkish recipes. Basterma, cig kofte, soucuk, icli kofte, Turkish kahve and baklava is all Turkish in origin. I-m not mad at him serving Turkish food and calling it Armenian as long as the customers know that it-s Turkish in origin rather then Armenian. - Bu ermeni adam deli acmis bastirma, sucuk, cig kofte, icli kofte, baklava be turk kahvesi satiyor ama ermeni yemekleri diye musterileri kandiriyor. Not one America restaurant, but everyone is American. In other words, America is not just a piece of land it-s a culture. When you esteem all other cultures above the one you live in that-s telling. I love American food the best, like Italians Italian food, Mexicans Mexican food, Taiwanese tai food etc. I like other cultures food but if I was going to do a -Munchie- segment I would show you to American BBQ place, a place with bomb ass chili cheese fries, a place with the best authentic Banana pudding, and Americans would love it. Meanwhile, people who were just born here would think it-s just good but not as good as the food from where their parents are from.

I feel like the guys in this video live in a little bubble and don-t realize a lot of other cities in the U. S have strip malls. Multiple times they mentioned how strip malls are unique to LA and how there-s no other place where you can get your -nails done and eat food next door-. Literally all over the US. Also when eating outside at the taco truck, they mentioned how LA is the only place they can eat street food outside like that. literally the whole world does that. not unique to LA. I am originally from LA so no hard feelings there but these guys act like no one else is doing what they are doing. Either way, the food looked amazing; )

The one time in my life I every traveled to a different state, with one restaurant in mind, and it was closed: (--It was like 12 years ago in L. A. and I was trying to find -Stinky Tofu- after reading about it on some blog. I made my family walk in circles around Chinatown for hours. We found it right away, but it was -Closed by food safety inspector- and I refused to accept it. I just assumed I was at the wrong place, like an idiot. ---Damn food safety jackass >: / it's tofu fermented in rotting plant matter and water! Of course it's not safe, now let me eat it you bastard!

food out here is trash. i am an nyc native and lived here for the last three years and i can infact say it is trash. NO chinese food (more like a small nasty buffet) no general's tso chcken or fried chicken wings (NOT BUFFALO wings. No pizza. ONLY good pizza is Lemonica's in west LA. all there is here is, tacos, tacos, tacos, oh and tacos. I could literately make this 10 pages long of how bad the food is here, but why bother. ---LA is not a melting pot, it is an extension of mexico.

If you come to try leo's tacos al pastor. -You must come late night. -They seup shop by lunch time but the spit where the roast the pastor comes out at about 7: 00 PM and it takes a bit till is ready. -Other than that you'll just be having average tacos. -The asada is just average truck meat
