In this episode of All The Tacos, we tested just how far Francisco-s love for tacos goes by making him hunt for-and eat-bugs and insects. It turns out that Francisco-s love for tacos is infinite and unconditional, with just a few reservations before going all in. Tarantulas, cockroaches, worms, and scorpions were just some of the insects he sampled while gulping down beers and mezcal for liquid courage-and eventually coming to the conclusion that insects are. wow. Jacob: This is why mexico is good, it gives us actual jobs that you need to get by to the most literal meaning, you get a job there to trade so you can eat etc. You can work everything from the land to the sea from insect gathering to salt extracting. Here in the us all we do is work and get home to depression. Over there you get home to sleep so you can hustle the next day

Been living in El Paso for 6 yrs. -Stuff like this is what's keeping me motivated to save the money to get my passport so I can make day trips into Mexico after work/on my days off. -My fondest memories growing up were making trips into MX and pier fishing, swimming in the ocean, and hanging out eating the best tacos I've ever had in my life while taking in the sights and sounds. -I didn't understand a word of Spanish back then but, good people good food and good times are the true universal language.

That axel kid is a very good example of Mexican children. Very confident, bright and curious and not afraid to speak with adult strangers as if they where adults them selves. As an American I immediately saw the difference between a 7 year old Mexican kid and American kid. American kids a a little less mature, more timid and well just act like silly kids but these little Mexican bastards surprise the hell out of you with some of the shit they say

I-ve eaten insects and arachnids down in Mexico and they were good. Some tasted like almonds and others like fried pork rinds. I will say though that the bugs I ate were all fried. Don-t think I could eat them raw no matter how small they were. A list of the things I ate were black ants, spider, scorpion, caterpillar, and grasshopper.

Lol, 10% of the 500, 000 people bitten by scorpions do not die. That would be 50, 000 PLUS. He's playing the gringos. It's not even close to 1%, most scorpions here are little more more than a bee sting. If you dig into any real data is more like under 100 people per year, to some reports saying at high as 1000 but with no verifiable data.

Francisco definitely did the American version of craving McDonalds after a vacation in a foreign country. He went straight for the tacos al pastor and carne asada after eating this stuff. Or maybe a huge lonche.

I want to say I-ve tasted some exotic foods but nothing too crazy. I had cricket tacos back when I was 10 years old and they-re not too bad. I-ve had gator that-s pretty good too. Octopus is amazing.

I'm still hoping for an episode on tacos de flor de cabeza. One of those things that you can't really find in the US (at least from what I've seen) yet are so insanely good.
