Chicken Tetrazzini - The Cooking Show

video description

Rating: 4.0; Vote: 1
Farideh recalls an iconic Maury Povich scene with a chicken tetrazzini recipe so good, it could steal someone-s boo. Farideh makes this comforting Italian casserole with chicken thighs, mushrooms, onions, red bell peppers, and peas. She creates a creamy sauce using chicken broth, milk, flour, and white wine, tosses it all together with spaghetti, and tops it with parmesan and cheddar before baking until golden brown

Just saying that the brown on mushrooms is 100% not poop is misleading and not completely accurate. ---So mushrooms are neither grown in poop or in dirt. They are grown in Substrate, and there are a lot of ways to make a mushroom substrate. Some companies use Straw and Gypsum, some companies use straw/hay and manure. No matter what they use to make it it is composted first, which chemically changes the hay/gypsum/manure into said substrate. Manure is the cheapest method, so if you are buying generic brand button mushrooms, then what is on them came from composted pasteurized manure/straw. Is it poop? NO, was it poop at some point? YES. ---So whether you thought it was poop or not, you were wrong, it's kinda both. It's also completely safe to eat the substrate.

Somebody really needs to tell this young millennial to stop with all the LIKES. Like, then, and then, like, and I, like, do this, like, and then, like we are like cutting up like the chicken and add, like some cheese, and then, like, some pasta, and maybe, like chicken stock, like, like, like. UGGGH! Grow up bimbo! Is this the way you communicate when interviewing for a job? Hmmm? You best hope the interviewer is just as empty headed and talks like a, like, 7th grade cheerleader, like you!

Mushrooms are grown in what is basically wood chips, compressed into a -log- like shape, in massive multi layer racks. It is honestly kind of incredible, and I highly recommend watching some videos of it on YouTube. Like, you can't grow 'meat' like that. You can't even grow most plants like that. Also, I don't wash my mushrooms either. I just pick off the big bits, and they are fine.

The mycelium of button / common mushrooms grow on a sterilised mix of manure (horse and poultry) and straw, then the surface is covered with compost when the mycelium is ready to fruit, so they kind of grow on manure but out of compost.

another non - italian culture vulture trying to cook italian food, not even sayinh the names right, not doing anything right. They have no culture so they have to steal from the italians.
