But the hash browns aren't in, they're the crust! Rhonda: Max is probably right you don't need to demonstrate what I consider a staple mix (bacon, onion, green peppers and mushrooms. What I love about this recipe is you can make it with anything you want. You can do it with a theme in mind. Mexican, Italian, French, German etc. or even a Seasonal theme. Love it! I just noticed that you made this video back in June of 2017. You are timeless, Sam.

Hey Sam! Just made this today. I followed the steps, cooked the bacon in the cast iron, left some bacon grease in the pan and added oil before putting the potatoes in, but it still stuck in spots to the bottom of the pan. I read food sticks to cast iron because the pans isnt hot enough. But the pan you used wasnt hot at all then you put in the potatoes in and it came out fine. any advice?

Im actually baking this as a write this. think I made an error. The video shows OBrien SHREDDED potatoes. my OBrien potatoes are CUBED. Hopefully thatll work out, but the other issue is to bake it at 450 according to what Sam said in the video, but in the recipe pdf is says 400. which is it? Trying 400. well see

Update. did NOT work out. the cubed OBrien hash browns did not brown AT ALL. even after an extended period of time. Might has been the temperature. as I said before video said 450. pdf said 400. As for coming out in 1 piece aka pie-like. NOPE. Scrambled mess. despite the bacon grease and oil in the pan

Will make this next, just made Sams pancake with bacon in the batter. F&% ing brilliant i also added chocolate chips. WHo would have thought bacon and chocolate would be so good together. Amazing how all this is so easy just needs someone to think outside of the box for us. Thank you Sam

You can kinda see Sam transitioning from being a ordinary cooking show host into his own style of being a cooking host? Now he doesnt seem to rush around as much, he seems to of found his way of presenting himself to us lol He is actually more enjoyable to watch than Gordon Ramsay!

I made this for breakfast after watching it twice(so I could get it right. Outstanding! Big hit with my family. Love the videos. I also made beef short ribs with cauliflower mash. Holy shit! No leftovers! Great show. Lots of fun. Thanks. You are making America cook again!

i've been making these recipes and they've been turning out amazingly well. Amazing because they turned out for me, not amazing because they turned out well and came from you. It was good. Looking forward to you inspiring us to make more. Many thanks.

If Max wants to skip the onions stuffing thats fine. But you should make him dig for the video where you did it before and place a link in the description. If it was never done you should not skip it! Fair? As always thank you for uploading! Great stuff

like Kristina said -- you forgot the cream. but no matter, it's still yummy. my version is with bacon, onion, poblano, jalapeno, garlic, Hatch green chili powder, and mesquite powder; lime zest + juice in the sour cream topping. to die for.
