more critique because I'm an asshole, grill should be on high heat. Your pizza dough is weak. you should grill it on high heat, minimal time. After the dough is done you should move it to indirect heat, add the toppings and close the lid. I'd broil it in an oven to get the char without overcooking everything. Here's a bunch of words I'm forcing you to read. Anyway, best thing to do is to build a legit brick pizza oven, and by the looks of your kitchen I'm thinking you could afford it: ) best wishes to you and your son.

I've never tried this method, usually I get my grill up to about 400, put some corn meal on my peel, put the dough on top, top the dough, and place directly on the grill like that. I'm going to try this method next time. pizza on the grill is seriously one of my favorite things ever

I've never had barbecue pizza neither with BBQ sauce nor on a charcoal grill. Sounds terrible. BBQ sauce is just too overpowering. Is BBQ pizza on a grill better than your woodfired pizza in that wood pellet oven?

I also do it on the grill, but with a pizza stone, and they end up like neopolitan pizzas. Mona lisa in little italy sells san marzano tomatoes which make it amazing.

BTW, just made my 2nd Hormel Chili Omelette without the beans, added in chopped fried onions and cayenne, for a kick. to die for! Don't eat the same shtty food!
