Easy and impressive and delicious AF? It's GIANT KING CRAB LEGS! Jessica: I would like to nominate my husband. He has worked so hard to keep this family a float. He works for the school district here in Las Vegas. Works two jobs as health insurance kills his his paycheck but wants to make sure we have good insurance as I needed a major surgery and we needed better doctors and hmo wasn t cutting it. Plus the education here is basically last in the country and we send our daughter to a private school and is wants me to be home to make sure she is taken care of as the schedule is a bit crazy and is able to do all extra stuff after school, he puts so much for our family first and works so hard. He does so much around the house on the weekends without complaints even though during the weekend he leaves at 6: 30am and doesn t get home until 10pm. He loves your show. Loves to try all your recipes has your books and your knife lol and I want to give him something truly special. He has the heart of gold and Beyond lucky to call this man my husband.

I d like to nominate my step father. He came into my life at the age of 4 and has been my step father for 21 years of my life. My biological father had left me and my mother with 10s of thousands of debt. My mom lost her car and our house. He came into our lives and gave us the ability to rebuild and strive for success. He encouraged us to move across Canada from close to poverty to give my mom a better opportunity in her profession and has stood by her as she has become very successful in her job. He has never once asked for anything from us but love and respect. 2 years ago he was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer. He went through a dramatic change in diet and weight losing over 35lbs and being in amazing shape before his surgery. He barely survived surgery having internal bleeding after the main surgery and came very close to death. Through this he has still maintained a very positive outlook on life. I should also mention that me and my mom are white. He is black. We have dealt with a lot of discrimination from both sides of the coin. Throughout all of this he maintains to give us every ounce of his love. I couldn t ask for a better father and I think he deserves to be rewarded for what he has done for us. He just got a small Weber charcoal grill and I couldn t imagine how he would feel having the Evo to compliment it. Even if he doesn t get chosen, I just wanted to put his story out there. He deserves to be recognized for what he has sacrificed.

My dad actually separated from my mom last year and finalized his divorce a couple weeks ago. I'm fortunate that they still get along and we still get together for lunches and dinners, but my dad grew up in Mexico in a different culture where he never learned to look after the home, so this separation was particularly difficult for him because he had to learn how to take care of himself for the first time and food became one of those reminders that he was now alone. What I watched over the past year was how he slowly started to pick up the pieces of his life and food has become a manifestation of that. I'm talking he would microwave ground beef with absolutely no idea what he was doing, but not really wanting to learn how to cook properly because it would symbolize the failure of his marriage. and little by little he has shown so much personal growth and taken on learning how to cook in baby steps. He's no home chef but food has been so symbolic of how he has been able to get back on his feet and hold his head high and I couldn't be more proud of him. I'm 32 years old and he's still leading by example how to pick yourself up after life takes unexpected turns. I would love to nominate him for the giveaway.

Hello Sam and Max: I would actually like to nominate my daughter's stepfather, Nick. Not only is he totally above and beyond, like, buying her a Power Wheels Jeep, just because, and then tweaking it so it goes faster, just to make her smile. They have a ridiculous, perfect relationship. My daughter also has a half-sister, who loves him to death as well. To recap, that's two daughters from two separate families, with all the drama that comes with a situation like that, and he works always on making the family functional and happy. Not only that, but he has helped and supported me, even provided me a home for the last two years, in the name of having a close knit, cooperative family. I as a father, have my problems, but I would be nowhere near as close to getting on my feet right now if not for him. He redefines what family should be, and I would be remiss if i didn't try to give him a shot. He deserves every shot that a real biological father would have.

Hi Sam! I d like to nominate my dad. Words can t describe how much me means to my family and I. With that said though he s not perfect. He s gone almost the whole day because of work and I haven t been able to see him as much as i want to. But i know when it s time for baseball season he will be there for my games. When i watch your videos, you remind me of him. Just the way guys act, it s so similar, my dad loves making disturbing jokes and has the humor of us 20 year old kids. He loves watching your videos, i know that because when i try and talk during them he s glued to the tv. I am hoping sometime down the road my family can make a trip out to San Diego and come to your restaurants to meet you. We are from Michigan so it might not be in the near future. Winning this Evo would be amazing and It would be the best father s day gift i could give him (besides me. Thank you Sam!

I would like to nominate Roland, my husband & dad to our two girls! He spent almost 15 years on Navy ships on deployment on the high-seas for 6-9months each year non-stop to support our family & our country. He spent many years away from us & sacrificed so much for us. Now that he has changed roles to a shore job assignments, he still supports our Navy ships, however we as a family have him home more now & finally enjoying the quality time together. One of his favorite past times is watching Sam the Cooking Guy & grilling meals for our family! I know he would be through the moon & back if he was gifted an EVO grill! He drools at Sam's grilling masterpieces everyday he watches & would love to emulate them! Happy Fathers Day to you & all the father figures out there! #SamTheCookingGuy

My oldest brother, one of four boys himself, just became a father to his fourth son! He has always had the golden touch in the kitchen, but he has never had a tool like the EVO. I have been watching your videos for a year now, Sam, and I've become pretty handy on a grill because of it. I've even gotten better than my brother when it comes to grilling and smoking meat. I'd like to be able to give him this wonderful device so that he might once again stand a chance against me. His boys deserve better meals anyway! Help them, Samuel Kenobi. You're their only hope.

Let me start by saying, you are my favorite cooking person of all times, especially when you concoct hose great sandwiches. On a scale of 1 to 10, my cooking skills would be rated about a 4, maybe a 5. except for shellfish, in this field I excel because crabs are my favorite food, period. your recipe caught my attention and I thought that your ingredients were good, and I will definitely try it. The only thing that bothered me was the cooking time, i feel it was way too long, all you have to do is heat them up
