I think this video is my fabvorite of all the ones I've seen. It's so great how yoiu simply p[reeant the burger to allow us ot adore it. You aren't saying Look what I did! . You're saying LOOK AT THIS BEAUTIFUL BUGER. Thats what OI've noticed about all yoru videos. You're not showing off, you're showing the potential food that we see every day and saying LOOK WHAT THIS CAN BECOME! And I appreciate knowing how to take a healthy ground meat and make it less boring. I like to mis it with an 80/20 ground beef, but I like your idean better. A PAX ON THE HOUSES OF THOSE WHO CRITICISED!

For all the people saying you ruined it by putting too much butter you could have put WXYZ in to also make it moist. You don t think he know s that? Sam s a chef, he owns two restaurants. This is how he would cook it if he put it on the menu in his restaurant. As tasty as he an possibly make the dish. If you trying to lower your cholesterol then don t put the butter in, but don t tear his ass apart.

Hey Sam, where I'm from in Maryland they make something called pit beef. It's usually eye round or some type of roast beef cooked over charcoal then thin sliced on a bun with horseradish sauce and onion. It is amazing. Trust me. Especially when done right(which isn't very common) it is very juicy and full of flavor. You should definitely try making it.

Those burgers looked pretty perfect until the onions and peppers lol so I challenge you to make a burger with no onions, mushrooms or peppers. You can choose whatever meat you want and use as much kewpie as you dare.
Looking forward to seeing that as a video
This is all meant in fun fyi and because I'm allergic to onions, peppers and mushrooms.

Sam, I know you can probably get your knives professional sharpened and honed, but please give a warning to viewers who can't afford to do so NOT to use the cutting edge of their knife as a bench scraper to gather up whatever they're cutting in piles on the cutting board. Using the spine of the knife instead will help with edge retention

next time throw diced onions in the turkey or some type of vegi to create pockets of air inside the turkey burger for better results. Any turkey smashed tight like you did is going to be difficult to enjoy at that thickness. I still enjoyed the video except Max is not the cook for obvious reasons- Max film/ Sam Cook

Sam, what s your reason for not seasoning the ground meat when you make burgers but, rather, only seasoning the outside? I m pretty sure I see it constantly, but either Babish or Joshua Weissman went on a rant about their viewers seasoning the inside of a burger, but I don t remember the reason they gave.
