These EGGS!
You gotta try these!
As much as you love eggs, you really gotta try these deviled eggs. Even if you don't make a video of it, I'd love to hear your feed back on them.
Peanut Butter & Horseradish Deviled Eggs.
1 Part Cooked Egg Yolks
1/4 Part Peanut Butter
1/4 Part Horseradish Sauce (I know you like straight horseradish - not sure how much of that to use if you sub)
1/2 Part Mayo
Kosher Dill Pickle (small slices about the length of the egg and only about 1/4 - 1/3 inch wide)
Smoked Paprika
Sriracha Hot Sauce (or, in your case, you'll prolly use Cholula but the thicker Sriracha will present better for Max's photos)
Slice hard boiled eggs lengthwise and remove yolks.
Mash yolks with fork until fine.
Mix in Peanut Butter and Horseradish Sauce.
After PB and Horseradish are mixed
Then GENTLY mix in Mayo. Do not over mix or it will separate!
Put mixture in eggs I use a spoon for a rustic look. Yes Max, I push it off the spoon with my fingers.
Sprinkle with Smoked Paprika.
Add small slice of Kosher Dill Pickle on top of each.
Zigzag Sriracha Hot Sauce on top.

I’ve eaten deep fried shrimp in a Chinese restaurant that weren’t breaded and still had the shells on. They weren’t bad. The shells were unnoticeable. However, the shells didn’t add anything to the experience either. I suspect that certain restaurants do this to save time / money as opposed to doing it because it makes the shrimp taste better. The deep fried, shells on shrimp I ate did have the little swimmer feet removed. I’m not sure about pan frying the shrimp. I’m skeptical that such a short pan fry could achieve what I experienced. Long story short, eating shrimp with the shells on is a dumb idea, but it’s not a big deal either if they’re cooked right.

I'm cool with soft shell crab but I draw the line if shrimp are involved. The shells get used for making stock and then they go into the compost heap out back for the garden. But hey, whatever floats your boat. You're in Hawaii, how about some coconut shrimp kabobs with pineapple and veggies on the grill. A spread that nice gotta have a grill in the yard by the pool, no

Once went to Yum Cha and ordered the garlic chilli prawns and they came with the shell on. As I'm slowly peeling them a trolley lady in probably her late 70's stopped me and gave me a lecture/lesson on how to eat them properly and have never had them any other way since.

First of all, Sam, you’re driving on the wrong side of the vehicle Wait, that’s the UK, not Hawaii. Sorry. Secondly, beware of challenging local roadside cuisine. Dere be dark waters ye be sailin’ into, mah man. Dark and dangerous. So, send Max in first.

Team shell when they are standalone, but team not-a-shell when they are mixed in something. And that goes for you too, you miserable little tail! I really didn't like having to deal with the tails when eating something saucy and delightful!

Given that I have over 100 bulbs of garlic growing in my winter/spring garden, I’m a yes on using a whole bulb on something like this. I also do that with steaks, tenderloin, etc infuse it in butter with some herbs the angels sing.

Not team shell, here in England. They're very expensive here and bought only rarely when on a special offer. Love the vlogs guys, hope you had a great time in Hawai. Merry Christmas to you all.

Team Shell all day for garlic shrimp! The cornstarch basically crisps the shell like a chip making it the ideal vehicle to carry all that garlic buttery deliciousness

Yeah. If they were cooked like the heads in japanese sushi sweet shrimp, maybe. Though i do understand that you are trying to replicate that with the marinade.

I love the recipies, but the metal utensils scraping the non stick pot makes my eye twitch
Please tell me it's a special pot where you can use metal on.

I don’t like it with the shell on either but if you must, you really need to fry them longer than what Sam did here. They should be almost deep fried

So not good for your digestive tract to eat the shell and the residual fluids in the legs can make you very sick. Just inane
