Ideally that sandwich would be cut into thirds, and even at that it comes out to be almost $30 for a third, halves would be a $40-$45 sandwich and the whole would be over $80. 90% of an entire stick of butter for the whole thing is absurd. That probably tastes incredible but it's way too rich and the butter/mayo/garlic is overpowering, there is zero acid to cut into any of that. it needs pickled red onion, I also would have dumped all the steak juices in the garlic butter. Also I'd prefer ribeye on a sandwich, or at least the thinner part of the tenderloin that you said to use for something else that something else is for sandwiches.

I’m a trucker and when I’m in port Newark NJ there is a food truck king of chacacaro which is a Chilean cheese steak it’s always awesome and it’s a Mecca type item to go out of the way for I’m sure you can look this up for your version although I think a little bit of guac would make it next tier if you select my comment can I get a knife or two or atleast some swag #max #chancey #stcg

73 Tits and nipples when it’s really exceptional.
I was a little worried when cheese wasn’t mentioned until you were building, but you came through. Good choice with the havarti. I’m more of a Swiss fan but it can overpower some herbs.
Also, missed opportunity to quote Simon and Garfunkel by including a lire sage.

I'm so glad someone else mentions the literally from Gordon! He would say, while filleting a halibut: you literally just follow the spine all the way.
Yes I know you have to do this, but it is not as easy as you make it! I feel dumb when I can't literally do something like him on the first try!

I will always be loyal to this guy just for putting Kathy Lee Gifford in her place. However, these recipes are not even relatable to common Americans. I’d guess that very few viewers have ever attempted any of his recipes. This video is a perfect example.

Nah Tony Luke’s grocery store real sliced thin ribeye. It’s like steak um but real sliced steak is the best steak sandwich you can make at home. I’m from Philly this is a terrible looking steak sandwich. Sorry love everything you do but this is not one.

Hey Sam, I thought it was hilarious that my Dad's urologist in Arcadia was playing your videos on the waiting room TV - until I noticed everyone was watching and it really seemed to calm everyone down. You're doing God's work in unexpected places.

Alright Sam, It wasnt that hard. You take whatever LP you had on the turntable, dump the pot on the album cover, tilt, jiggle, let the seeds roll out. Much easier if you had a double gate fold cover but Im sure you know this. Also, nice sandwich.

Don't know if you know this, but a pretty big restaurant chain in China called O'eat is using your videos as part of their promotions. At least the one I walked past last night was showing one of your videos on a big screen outside to get people in.

I was one to use tits literally, figuratively, and physically. I’m 60 and remember hearing /using the phrase back when we used to smoke a lot of shitty pot lol. I’m thinking 1978-ishDidn’t use tits physically until a few years later

Does Gordon every say, You are literally brain dead,
or, This food literally tastes like poop,
or, The spice heat level is literally lava,
Cause then he would literally not know what literally means.

Sam! This one looks so good, I swear I could smell it through the TV. Maybe the wind of San Diego brought it into Mission Valley LOL. Appreciate the return the familiar format and away from the AI. You guys rock.

Pro tip: If you don’t want to pay for tenderloin, ask your butcher if they have teres major/petite tender, sirloin flavor and as tender as loin literally then follow Sam’s recipe cause it ROCKS!
