I have to say that the whole burger thing you are doing here, in general, appeals the heck out of me. To the public I will say this: If you want cucumber in a burger don't put them in raw. That's a rookie mistake and your friends will think less of you for it. Pickle the slices in equal parts of vinegar, water and sugar. If you want onions in your burger don't do onion rings (unless they are fried. Finely dice them instead. That way you will still get the taste but you don't have to deal with pulling onion rings out of the burger when taking a bite. Most importantly: It goes against the onion thing I just wrote but burgers should always be a chaotic greasy mess. The best way to insure that is pickling yourself in equal parts of alcohol, music and friends before eating.

I want everyone to read this! I have been watching Sam for almost 8months now. This past weekend I went to San Diego and I was very excited to go visit his restaurant Not Not Tacos. What a disappointment, I went in and ordered 5 tacos and the total was 40. To be fair, one taco had a 1 egg on top option. Unfortunately, the tacos were not even that good nor were they filling. They were filled with strands of fat, of course as he says fat means flavor but not to this extent. I will not be going to his restaurant every again, and I dont advise anyone to. This experience really affected the way I watch his YouTube videos, and take any advice in cooking from him.

sam, ive had this problem multiple times before. I've always overlooked the gasket on the new pressure cookers and have noticed steam coming out the sides of the lid, like in your video. Ive found that as long as ive secured the gasket in the lid, and made sure that the seal was real, lol, when tightening the lid, that the pressure cooker would work as advertised. love your vids, not trying to criticize.

Just do it right and use a smoker. You just can't get the taste right without real smoke. I smoke it for 4 or 5 hours and then finish it in the oven 200-250 until the internal temp is 200-210F. I use a bone in Boston Butt. Be patient. It's basically fool proof it you wait for it to get to that internal temp. Most of the fat will render & It will fall apart and be melt in your mouth juicy.

Sam, made this with my instapot and OMG is an understatement, never had this come out this good with other recipes. The teriyaki sauce is crazy good and a home run big time. Made an omelette this morning and put some of this pork in it, wholly crap was it good. I think Im going to gain 5 lbs from everything I want to make with this. Thank you

Sam - I was looking forward to another great instructional recipe. So sorry for your loss (the pressure cooker. I just looked up the Fagor pressure cooker on Amazon and the many 1-star reviewers indicate the same problem you had. Plus, their non-existent customer support. As of some time in 2018, Fagor reportedly went out of business.

Here's a tip, Sam: If you see the little bugger land, clap your hands above it. They see everything slower, that's how they predict a slap and avoid it every time. But if you trick it, it'll fly straight up into your hands and be killed. 100% effective, try it! Also I've seen one spectacle of a man once snap a towel and kill one.

So im sure youve fixed this already but the same thing happened to me with my instant pot. You have to take the seal ring out of the lid, clean the ring and the track that it lays in thoroughly, and make sure its properly reset. Mine was leaking from the seal not being set right. Looks exactly like whats happening here.

Well yeah Viny's daughter was cooking pig feet in the pressure cooker and she lost the little doodad that goes on top so she jammed a nail in the hole and boom big explosion. Broken windows and pig everywhere. Mrs Viny blames Viny for not watching the daughter. Poor Viny is still cleaning pork rind off the ceiling. :-)
