2-point perspective allows for a different look and can be a lot of fun to play around with. It's mostly using with straight lines - like buildings and cityscapes and things of that nature but can be used for almost anything. I encourage you to explore this concept and see what you can come up with

Your video helps alot, I'm glad I grew up in France we learn these basics perspective at a younger age so the first 5 videos were just like -remember- haha, can't wait to catch up to the recent content but like the others said in the comments, one sketch at a time: )

Thanks so much for this video! I have never taken an art class, but I have watched a few videos about two-point perspective drawing. You-re the first person to say that the vanishing point could be off the page! Brilliant! I can-t wait to try it. --

i have to make sure my initial vertical line doesn't go too high right? i wanted to make a large house, but I got to a point with the roof where there isn't a clear path from the roof top to the right vanishing point

could two-point perspective used to draw say a cylinder? i understand how to use the method in this example, but I'm having a hard time figuring out how to apply it to other objects/structures

I used to draw like this ALL the time as a kid, wasn't a great artist so this was my only type of drawing, 8 years later and this still brings me so much joy
