Stephen is such a fun person to listen to! He's got so much energy and he's not pompous at all, and he's such an introspective person it's like you're getting an incredible insight on his process. Really makes me want to go and draw right now, so I will! Hope to see him here again someday!

How does Brandon take quality video of the graphite drawings? He does justice to the layers and shades of the drawing as if the viewer was right there looking at the drawings with you, Stan. Can Proko make a video about how Brandon takes picture and video of drawings?

I love how Stephen left the hatched portrait half way done on purpose. he seems to be a very reflective artist, as he'll just stop right there, where he's done enough exploring a particular concept.

This inspires me so much. I'm a graphite guy myself but this is just on another level that it makes me want to grind more. I'm screenshotting all of the artworks and drafts to use them as references.

When you attend an artistic high school but you-re about to die because you are having a philosophy oral test and 237463 tests so bye bye drawing and learning something new

Love Stephen's work. But he never talks about two important things. How do you avoid the graphite shine? How do you preserve the drawing (fixative or no fixative?

Excellent way of explaning the anatomy. Loved it, Please watch my few sketches video too and comment on how I can improve on the shading. Thank you!

I know i am making an arrogant comment but i think he is violating the basic rule of not using hard lines to define the contour of forms.

Obviously Stephen is a talented guy with amazing artwork but I just want to say he's got a terrific voice for radio/voice-overs etc

The line quality on the skull towards the back if it is in the distance shouldn't it be softer and fade away into the distance?
