Mini Winter Garden Explained Garden Answer RealLuckless: Drywall plaster is another product that can be handy for making walkway models and such. Very easy to pick up a bit, simple to work with, and can be carved/sanded when cured fairly easy, but at the cost of not being as durable as shapecrete by the sounds of it, and also needing sealing if it is likely to be soaked in water.
Picking up a roll of fibreglass drywall tape is also a very handy addition to such projects. It is easily cut and laid out for a reinforcing later to help keep things holding together whether using shapecrete or drywall plaster or other product.

Love the winter scene! You could always make the scene on top of another 'hard' material (maybe plywood) and use it as an insert that can be removed after the holiday is over. The cypress can also be trimmed back and another scene inserted or just turned into a regular planter garden.

Always a winner. Queen of the fairy gardens, I took pictures of all your previous fairy gardens and finally had to delete them as my memory was getting full. There so many. All stunners and doable. I only made one. Lol.

Easy way to water mini gardens - use ice cubes - they melt slow and will not disturb any of the decorations
