Decorating for Christmas Garden Answer Kathleen: now it is December 2021, Dexter has passed and now we are entertained by Russell and Cheddar. I laughed when you said you intended to have as many as 9 trees in the house as the last owners did. The both of you have done so much with the house and the south gardens. Thank you for this gift you share with us, as the season is at a close and we are dreaming of next years gardens and buying seeds instead of silly Christmas gifts. lol. I have been going through your tutorials and getting more and more excited about decorating our home, inside and outside. Merry Christmas Aaron, Laura, Benjamin and Samantha Grace

Hi it's only about a month since I found you and I must say you inspire me to get up and do more. I know you have that adorable little Benjamin, what a cutie he looks like both of you, well it's middle October here of 2019 and I thought maybe I saw most of your videos but I guess not, this one was a first from 2 yrs. ago. Keep them rolling. Thanks for showing and sharing everything you do I must say I have to take a deep breath for me and you because I get exhausted watching. But I will never stop happy 4 seasons and happy all the holidays too. From NE Pennsylvania

Yes, I am watching Christmas vidoes! It's so chilly in zone 3 already - August 27th ) - leaves are falling and tomatoes are not sized up nor ripe so I like to think of my next favourite season to cheer me up! :) xoxo Very beautiful decorations, love the trees so far and all the lighting outside. I've seen more recent videos of yours where you've decked everything out even more, so I love seeing the beginnings of your new home adventure. This made me happy: )

Very important to decorate the tree from the inside out, both lights and ornaments, and the ornaments must hang freely or we can't sleep at night.
Your home and trees are beautiful and all those lights outside! Oh, my. Especially love the little tool shed with the only colored lights to be found. A sweet touch. Already thinking about Christmas for 2018. Looking forward to seeing what you're doing this year. Lisa

I know I am late in watching this video. But I have to say I always put a lot of lights on my tree. In fact, each branch would have its own set of lights. So when I take the tree apart, I just remove the branches. The lights have lasted 17-19 years because they don't get jostled with removing the lights from the tree. My son says my tree can be see from outer space because of all the lights.

Laura, That is amazing, your place looks fabulous. It was lovely to see Pastor Paul lending a hand. (I love his teaching) I have a question/problem. I tried to order a winter garden answer sweatshirt. but there was no New Zealand among the countries so I couldn't make an order. I have ordered before with no problem as I have the garden answer t-shirt.

Here I am watching your Christmas video, while I do a little fall decorating too! We had The Christmas Cupboard store in the late 90's and as you know I am a Christmas addict for decor! Lovely trees. I am also now a succulent lover and had to watch your videos on that as well. Love your videos, as they are so informative. See you at the nursery!

I'm going back to view videos I haven't seen! Now I cannot wait for Christmas! Have a new artificial pre-lit tree and had already thought that I would probably still need to add lights! At one time, we had a tree in every room of our house. even the bathrooms. LOL The kids loved it. Now they have their own trees and we have just one: )

amazing piece of property and house. going LED, did it keep the electric bill down? that's alot of lights and I know that holiday electric bills jump.
and Dexter, what a schmoo.
(I saw the video that he passed to the Rainbow Bridge, no doubt with his catnip mouse. heartbreaking. but what a wonderful life and love he had.

I happened onto this video today and am curious about how you added the multiple ribbons on your 9. 5 foot tree. Something like this seems simple, but really isnt for us uncreative types! Maybe you can demonstrate this holiday season? Thanks for the inspiration as always!
