Installing a Drip System for my Mom! Garden Answer Anthony: Thank you so much. This took so much fear out of installing drip. which(changed my life) finally took the plunge and did it! Can you provide an update vid on what you have learned, coming from your previous house, to now. regarding drip? Im afraid that: Im pushing the bounds of the recommendations on the box (raindrip irrigation systems, from Lowes. I know for bigger yards youd want bigger drips cords 1/2 vs 1/4s. but what is your experience with (pushing) the boundaries of how much the box recommends for tubing footage?

Thank you so much for doing this video, now I don't feel so intimidated, and I love the idea of the timer, which you can use the base hose separately if needed now I just need to look up all the items and note them in my new garden journal (thank you for that idea) where to get everything, how much, and cost as well as the plan set up. Exciting new idea for next yr. I didn't have any real plan for anything new for next year yeah now I do.

I liked your video but i have questions.
1. Please can you let me know the name of all items, you used then i can buy easily and also be explaun from where you bought all items?
2. I didn't show how you attached half inches pipe and quater inches pipes.
3. You didn't showed drip system, you dod holes or was already. I feels holes would not before because you did pipe under the ground, so please be explain me?

I laughed when you said not once and done. That is not entirely true. I have been in my house for 27 years. I have not had to mess with mine except by expanding the system over the years. The only thing that does go bad is the sprinkler heads and steaks. Other than that I have never had to replace my tubing.
For anyone thinking about it and or is nervous don't be. Just start and it will surprise you how easy it is.

I think I would like to put a drip system in our garden. I created the garden this summer. It got extremely dry in the late summer and I had to struggle to get everything watered. We have over 2 acres and are on well water so think it will be the best way to go. I am hesitant to get started because it will be a lot of work and I am a pen old lady. Will give it a try. Thank you for all the great information.

I finally did the watering system in my small garden and I am so so proud. I just need to add a adjustment and waiting on a few parts like the timer and I need another soaker hose. I am so proud because I have Been procrastinating for months to do it or not. finally I put Laura hat on and I say I can do this. and I underestimated myself. but thanks Laura

I want to install drip irrigation in my flower gardens before I go in Vacation. I have a question, Do I use 1/2 inch drip irrigation tubing & 1/4 inch drip irrigation emitter lines (the one with the holes in it) so that they will fit into each other?

hi I don't see that you have a pressure regulator for the drip irrigation system for the containers; how did you regulate the pressure? another question is that it appears that you did not use 1/4 transport tube at all. thanks
