Upgrading to LED Grow Lights Garden Answer Victoria: The grow light systems is one that I have been wishing for a long long time but in your description you say it's a two bulb if I remember correctly you change three bulbs but it still an awesome system. I have a question about the one that's in the kitchen can you stack another two tier on top of that shelving unit? I would love to with a two tier kitchen unit. The question would be what would I put on it when I put my orchids my cycling routes how would I put kitchen herbs on it the decisions to make how about a little bit of all of them. That would be a really awesome decision to have to make.

Nowadays it's harder to find these kinds of lights that fit into the ballasts, at least at local big box stores. Many of them have moved to LED or Compact light styles that are enclosed or designed to last years, and then you just toss the entire thing away when the lights no longer work. That seems wasteful but I guess it's the wave of the future to throw entire things away (like how some cell phones are not coming with replaceable batteries anymore. you are supposed to replace the entire phone every few years when the battery life starts going bad.

Wall Mart, now has a great Great Value LED, 2 strip, 4' ft. Long for $83. 00 don't buy the general house plant LED tubes, for only $9. 24 they all burn out by 12 weeks, wall mart only warranties it for 90 days, get the Tall House Plant LED for $83. 00 real good, none have burned out yet, I bought 4 of them. 12-31-20Happy New Year, drinking a chill glass of red wine, smoking a funny cigarette, cost me $15 a gram, ha ha ha.

These units are too expensive for what they are. You can make your own with wire shelving units, shop lights and plastic tubs for far less. People can figure this out by just looking at them and being inventive. Spending 4-7 hundred dollars to keep $100+ worth of house plants alive is excessive for most people. While the bells and whistles might be nice, there is no way I can afford this level of convenience for a hobby.

Hello! This is maybe basic. but I dont know if I get it. I like to have plants around my house and I do get that they need light, but why will I have all of them in one of this systems? Or its like you put your plants for a wile in this and exchange them? How long do they need to be there - how do I use this light? I am a bit embarrassed to ask, but even more curious

How much do they cost? I also would like to get some I tried to bring my plants in this year and some of them usually come in and do OK enough that they live by the windows, but my family lives in Michigan. Anyway my front door was left open by my boys and ally plant where killed: ( I love the entire room you have for plants! Goal in mind!

Love this demonstration! Nice shelf/lighting systems quite like the two tier system that I built for myself years ago. However, mine is not nearly so nice as the sturdy, attractive shelves you show in this video. Definitely something I am going to look into. Is there a cover accessory to keep humidity and heat in? Thanks for the show!

Would love to have any one of these. I grow seedlings in my bathroom (the only place in the house warm enough) with a pvc frame for the light fixtures. Have also hung lights from the rafters in the basement. Am thinking of another area where one of these would be great for overwintering succulents and pots. Love your videos!

Really? $699. 00 got the three tier system? For this price especially for three of them to start veggies you could pay for a 10X12 greenhouse. That is way. overpriced in my opinion. Too bad. if it was a couple hundred for each system I would have purchased. but not for this price. Ridiculous!
