DIY Hardy Succulent Wreath! Garden Answer Nan: Hi Laura. I made my first living wreath yesterday. Thank you for this easy to follow video. I used hens and chicks from a pot on my deck. Certainly not new plants but second or third generation succulents. I had to clean leaves and cut roots and stems. Then I use the green pins to hold plants in place. My question is some of the pins went through the plant. Leaves and possibly roots. Will this kill the plant? I feel I might of been to rough in planting. I plan to not hang for 3-4 weeks. The soil was wet when planting so not going to water for a while. Well I hope everything will go okay. I just wanted to try something different with these adorable succulents. Thank you.

Snow? Oh, no! What happened to the pansies you planted on planters last week? Would they make it? I'm not lifting the dried leaves I left untouched on some spots afraid to expose the little guys that are already popping out of the ground. I'm in Catskills, NY, it's been very nice during the day but in the mid 30s at night so I'm afraid to uncover anything yet.

Ah you are so cute at the end this type of sempervivum is what I have in my garden - I have creeping thyme, a couple of types of sempervivum, and several other alpine rockery creepers which create ground cover in my flower beds as neighbours cat is always digging holes in any uncovered soil in my beds xx

That is a beautiful wreath. I live in a 6b zone and have been collecting sempervivum lately as they're the only succulents I can winter outdoors, so I love that wreath! About how many semps do you think you used to fill out that wreath? Thanks for sharing!

I just saw your video and looked on amazon and the wreath is filled with coco pete, so do you take it out? or do you hnow where I can get the one with nothing in it? tks love all your video's. Nicky

My wedding is in October and I'm planning on making my own bouquet after watching your video. My color palette is inspired by succulents, especially the deep purples and plum colors like these!

Video Idea: The best/common annuals you can grow from seed easily instead of buy from a garden center. Ex: potato vines? spikes? I bought a seed starting kit but don't know what to grow!

So pretty. Totally of topic do you have a good place to buy a massive amount of tulip bulbs. I am getting married this fall and would like to give some away in gift bags. Thanks

Hi Laura, I live in California and I just bought a hydrangea 3 days ago and one of the blooms is already dying, is this normal or should I be concerned? Thank you!

This would be beautiful as a Christmas decoration on the front door! I would love to do that and I believe I will soon although I live in a tropical country
