Hebe Fountain / Container and Landscape Plantings Garden Answer Kate: Your Tradescantia is already blooming! In my zone 4B it won't happen for a couple more months. Which makes it hard not to pull it when I'm trying to eradicate some invasive grass. They look similar.
I'm curious. Do you have plans for those couple of sod patches in the gravel area? Must be a pain to mow such small areas.
I'm so glad you're enjoying your black benches that flank the door. I can already imagine more containers near them. I love sitting on my front patio basking in the beauty all around.
Well, time to get outside to weed and mulch. I agree, gardens look so much better with fresh mulch.

Please help. anyone who has the answer. I have done big beautiful hanging baskets this year. Im having a really hard time feeding them weekly with a soluble fertilizer as they are quite high and too heavy to take down. Im using ( at Lauras recommendation. Proven winners premium water soluble plant food for flowering plants. is there anything as good as this where I can just maybe sprinkle on top of soil and water as normal? PLEASE HELP

Please be sure to show us the purple Superbena later on in the season. I did these same ones in pots last summer and they were up and down. Seemed like it took a long time to get rebloom after cutting mine back. Would be anxious to see how they do in a bed. I know how tough it is to trim off each beautiful bloom! Brutal! . Somehow, I have a feeling yours will be spectacular!

Hi Laura, Thank you so much for all the inspiration and informative videos. I have been watching you for a while now. Though you normally do it always but for this video, it will be nice to get the names of the plants you planted in your property. Some of them were fairly known ones but it will help. Thanks, Happy Gardening.

3 things to say / ask:
1. Love the long video
2. The rain sounds so beautiful - you guys seem to be getting a lot more rain this season that usual
3. Is your fountain pump connected to a power outlet or does it run off of solar? I would love a fountain in my yard but don't have power anywhere nearby.

Love your petunia and verbena color combo!
What is it with these leggy plants this year? I bought Waves and I think I need to cut them back. And they aren't settling in as easy as they usually do.
Very elegant porch entryway. Classy!

Oh my God, I am so with you on medium duty! I have had the top of the line industrial hoses and hated them. They are just what you said and the kink to the point that this Christian woman swears like a sailor: ) Love the medium duty!

Omw! My family just went to help renovate a house that was built in the 1920 that had been vacant for a while. When we got there we found the exact same fountain lady as in your video! Except she was almost life size
