Love it! I'm all about foliage and texture. I can't wait to see a perennial box. I would like to order window boxes next year for gardening shed, pump house, shop and garage. When you look at those structures all you see is the wall it would be nice to let the window stand out with some visual interest. This year i almost last minute planted a bunch of sunflowers just to help hide some of the walls but got nervous it would be too wild and i would have to put support in for them. So decided to just focus on painting everything this year. Have a fabulous week can't wait to see some updates or a tour: )

Goooodmorning! Such a beautiful window planter arrangement! Our nursery we prefer to go to is a ways from us and we plan to take another trip and Im so anxious to go just becouse like you said everything is disappearing so fast hope we find what we need. And yes having everything planned and in order is the key at least for us with our four kiddos but I do love the out of routine once in a while it makes it so fun for everyone! Laura I love the window planters they are a beauty!

Awesome! this window basket turned out so beautiful, I love your pairing choices, and thank you so much for your videos that give us so many great ideas, I sometimes have trouble finding enough shade loving plants, and welcome your expertise on these matters. Thank you again Laura this was such a great video, and I look forward to the next one.

Lovely, per usual. You gave me another idea for my shade border at my kitchen door with the sun loving grass, but it will remain small. I think I might try that as well and if they do well, I'll leave them and if they struggle, they can always go to my sunny border.
I hope you had a lovely 4th of July weekend!

Simply love this plant combination Laura, I noticed you dont add gravel at the bottom for drainage. Do the plants do ok? Is that ok to not add anything for drainage? Im newbie to this and Ive learned to add gravel at the bottom. I love the idea of the coffee filter its so clever thank you

Sometimes I find really interesting plants to experiment with in containers while scanning the clearance items after the peak of the season. By that time, the tough, thriving plants or unexpected and under appreciated ones really stand out. Love the dock with that coleus.

Question, I see that you dont add drainage stones or materials to your containers. Is it necessary to add drainage materials to the bottom of the containers? Im new to container gardening, I need all the help I can get. Your videos are so helpful.

This arrangement has a patriotic flair. ahem.
Just in time for the 4th of July!
I like it.
I like this especially because we we will be putting a cover over our patio on the south side of our house too. Thanks for the inspiration.

For it not being planned out I loved the combo!
I'm a big fan of Coleus but I haven't seen that variety in FL or NC (we just moved. Now it's going on my list!
I've a new house to redo the landscaping to suit my taste lol
