How to Trim Annuals Mid-Season Garden Answer Richard: Hi Laura. love your presentations. so glad I found you. could I make a suggestion. I am thinking what if you took a small area of your beautiful property and showed your viewers a garden done on a small budget. so many have a small space but love to garden and would have a hard time buying 20 or 30 plants at one time. I know you would have great ideas for this. think about it and keep on getting in touch with Mother Earth. thanks Mary ann

Gooodmorning! Did our front bed the sun and rain sure did a number on our Bourdeux and Allysum. Our containers had a trim two weeks ago and could be combination of a lot of rain and Proven Winners fertilizer but they are hitting the ground again! and they got trimmed as much as you trimmed them down. I did learn something or got reminded to put some slow release again we didnt so got to get to it! Beautiful containers Laura and thank you.

Love your videos! Your plants are always beautiful! I can't wait to get my fall veggie and herb seedlings planted, they are almost ready. This florida summer has been rough on me and all my plants in the garden this year, so I can't wait till the fall gets Here! Thanks Laura! You always have great advice for everyone!

I planted hay racks with supertunias. They looked beautiful for 2months and then boom all the pink is gone! The flowers have not come back. I just red the proven winners web site and it suggested it might be a moth/catapilar. Has anyone else experienced this. The green keeps growing but they look ugly without blooms

Laura, I am having so much trouble with my summerlove clematis. It is now dying on me. Should the base of the plant be free from other plants? Some black eyed Susans have spread around the base of the plant and Im wondering if thats doing harm to it? Any suggestions?

To those saying their annuals (especially in pots) aren't getting enough blooms, I'm assuming you are giving them regular fertilizer for annuals but are they getting enough sun? Put them where they can get enough sun (no shade and at least 6 hours.

Perfect timing. I was just outside looking at my abundant flowering annuals and perennials. Tomorrow morning, first thing, I'm going to be trimming, shoring up, and fertilizing all of these guys to give them a few more happy months.

Hello Laura! I love how you care for your plants. Sometimes we have to prune our plants. It takes wisdom to know when and how. You give us the knowledge and understanding. I just need the courage to do it. I love the blooms.
