Hi Laura, we are in our first house about 18 months and I am finding more and more courage to garden, take chances and just learn and enjoy the process! I thank you wholeheartedly for that -- I might just become a green thumb with Aaron's and your virtual help. One question I have for you regarding planting in larger pots. Do you fill the entire pot with soil, or do you use filler such as stones, rocks, etc so that you don't have to spend $$ on soil?

I love all the combinations that you've come up with. I've tried myself to do the same thing but it's not as good as yours! Russell is so cute, I love when he comes and looks to see what you're doing like he's helping you. Is there a video that explains how to hook up a drip system from scratch? I have a lot of pots but I'm constantly watering them oh, so much work! Thank you for sharing it's always enjoyable watching you do your thing with ease!

As much as I have enjoyed all of your videos, so informative, I absolutely love the Russell shots you leave in the videos. Just love the incorporation of his cuteness in the videos. And you have inspired me to get away from my sewing machine/quilting and smell the flowers. I just bought a huge pot for outside and went to the garden center and bought my PW pots. Thanks again.

Thank you for sharing more of you setting up drip! Stunning containers as always. You inspired me this year to try something new in my containers and this year i have one of the most beautiful foliage container i have ever done. I so want that coleus by the way! I totally agree with tools and setting things up correctly otherwise it's way too frustrating.

I heard the name ascelepias and suddenly my toxicology class from vet school came back to me. FYI the plant is toxic to the hearts of sheep, cattle, and sometimes horses if the leaves are ingested in large quantity (like if it's really dry outside and this plant is one of the few green things around, they might munch on it. So keep out of their reach!

Love these container. Laura do you deal with deer on your property? We are moving to Central Oregon and will have to learn to garden with deer in the yard. I'll miss my zone 7, no deer yard, but look forward to learning about all the new plants I'll be able to use, although the list is shorter due to the deer.

Really enjoyed this video. I've turned to container gardening more and more. mostly for the control it offers, for soil and location, as well as watering as needed. Thanks so much for the advice on plant combinations, too!
