Decorating lots of Christmas trees! Garden Answer mary: Loved watching this! The angel from your first Christmas would be a great topper for a smaller tree decorated with photos of people that have passed on. Old family photos can be reprinted in b/w and framed in gold or silver then sprinkled over the tree. It makes a wonderful conversation tree to tell old stories and remember those that came before or that have influenced your lives in a meaningful way. That angel would be a perfect topping to the memory tree. Your home looks so loved and warm.

I love this video, but I'd love to see a detailed video on how you make your topper bow. They look so pretty. I'd just love to see how you make your bows and how you hang them, how the streamers hang off of them, how much ribbon for a bow. Also I'd like to watch an instruction video putting your ribbon on the tree. slowly. Love your Christmas video's. It must be wonderful having that big house and decorating it all. I'd love it.

Something I did for my kids when they were little I bought them an ornament every year while they were living here at home. When they moved out they got all the ornaments got to take him with them and like my son like nutcrackers I had bought him several nutcrackers over the years he took them. Just a thought you might like to do it for Benjamin I really think that they appreciate it,

I know this is an old video and I'm watching in June but I just wanted to mention a tip I started doing because of kiddos and pets. I use fishing wire and loop it around the top of the tree and secure it to something so if it's accidently hit it won't fall over. I've attached to banisters or curtain rods ect. Easily hidden and saves my expensive and or sentimental ornaments

Russell was as busy as Laura decorated the Great Room tree. I was distracted watching him, rather than Laura. It made me laugh, with his ears twitching, and his head turning whenever Laura moved. Then, it almost become too animated for him, and he turned his back to maybe? watch television. Loved the video with decorating ideas, but also Russell help in the Great Room.

What beautiful trees! You put in so much work to each and every one and it really pays off - your house looks magical. I enjoyed seeing Russell when you decorated the tree in the great room! Your personality really shines through in these kinds of vlog-style videos, and I really enjoy them! Thank you for sharing your Christmas preparations with us

I'm going thru all your vlogs so I'm just now getting to this one. When my kids were little I let them pick out an ornament every yr (I started sometime after they turned 10 or so) and then when they moved out I gave them the ones they picked. My mother n law also collected ornaments for each grand child from birth to 18 and they got those as well.

This was a great video, thank you. I think Hobby Lobby has the best trees. I give ornaments to my children on Thanksgiving to get them started for Christmas. I also do themed trees. I have done Nativity (one lg Nativity set wired into the tree and smaller sets, Elves (Santas workshop, angels and crosses so many ideas. Only limited to your imagination.

Love your videos, wow, you have so much energy. I am picking up so many tips. Could you one time go through the best way to place the lights, I always struggle with this (and usually end up having a temper tantrum, sorry family. May be you have already done this, if so, sorry, I only discovered your videos a few days ago.
