Willow Branch Trellis Project Garden Answer Heather: In the most recent garden tour when Laura referred to harvesting some of the globe willow branches for a project I was wondering if a living sculpture was the plan. Having watched this video now, I'm wondering if maybe the willow branches just aren't being watered enough (dry side of the Cascades) to stay alive? Because that is basically the way you make a living willow fence/arbor/fort/whatever, only you don't strip all the leaves and you have to keep the feet wet pretty consistently until the branches root out. Perhaps another project video for the future? My local farm has a willow fort in a kids' play areanow I want to make something willowy for my yard at some point too!

I use so many random things as trellises! I had a plant that died off that I used as a trellis when it dried up, it was probably 8 feet tall and nice and firm when it dried, I didnt even have to uproot it, just planted along the base! I also plant plants at the bottom of my porch and use my porch railing as a trellis!

Boo! Short videos! All week! Can we get an update on the side yard project where you ripped up all the sod? Dying to see what you've done there. (The thunbergia vines are always beautiful and I like that you didn't choose white [again]. I guess I'm like Aaron. I want Disneyland everywhere): )

please please have pauses between your video cuts. it's so hard to listen to non-stop talking. it's hard to follow and makes it busy. just a slight pause of just music and video for a few seconds is helpful. thanks.

I have a very curious question. I live in a tropical country without winter season, so I wonder how your plants survive on winter? Do they all die on winter and you have start all over again every summer?

Thank you for the video that shows how the things/plants look after a few months or during the growing season.
Too many videos show just the beginning stages but it's so fun to see the later stages as well.

This is what I wanna do for a while but not too sure how exactly to do it. Thank you for your awesome video! Love it. Will definitely make one for climbing beans this year. (from New Zealand): )

I remember seeing those in your fall garden tour and thinking, Hey. When did she put in the trellis! I thought I had missed a video or something! Absolutely beautiful as always. Thanks!

Love the update style of this video. we can definitly see the impact of the natural trellis without envisioning it. Must have been exciting sitting on the video for a while too. lol. great DIY.

The instructions are really helpful. I will be planting this vine next year. The whole area looks beautiful. I never saw cabbage so large in my town and couldn't find the white ones at all.
