Ok now I am confused. I thought I understood the zone and even memorized several but I am noticing your orchid says zones 5-8 and I am considered a zone 9 but The only difference between your area and mine is we don't get snow. We only go down to about 30 degrees in winter and up to maybe 105 in summer. We have gotten higher but not much and very rarely. Why couldn't I plant that orchid here?

at 14: 50 when you realize you forgot to run drip line: could you set the pot on a rack or other elevated surface to expose the drain hole from below, then take a small dowel or electrical fishing line and push it down thru the soil to find your drain hole, then tape your drip line to the part sticking up and pull it through? I've never actually tried this - just and idea.

Hardy orchids do well in Southwest Georgia. I have both the white and the fuchsia colors? Im not good with the subtleties of colors. Here they do well in well drained soil and a little shade. Our sun is brutal, and the tips of the leaves get burned badly if they are in full sun. They multiply very rapidly and form large clumps. They are easy to divide and spread over the garden.

I love your honesty! It was nice to see how you acknowledged the error made in constructing the little cart. It was a little thing that I would have done too. I love how you 'fessed up'. That's what endears you to me. You're so real & I love it. Benjamin is so cute! Thanks for that 'FaceTime' with Benjamin. Thanks for showing the names/plants' tags.

Gosh, it'd be nice if you post that strawberry rhubarb crisp recipe or make it for us! I grew up eating rhubarb and love it. I have fabulous recipes for rhubarb cobbler and rhubarb muffins. Yum! I've been wanting to plant rhubarb but am renting. I never thought of putting one in a pot. I may try it!

I love that you forgot the drip line in the rhubarb pot AND showed the cart put together backwards! gives all of us out here struggling to keep things growing hope that the professionals are human too! Just curious if the drip line gets pinched shut by the heavy pots sitting on it?

Hey Laura! I would love to have more peonies in my garden but I hate that they always flop over and end up having ants all over them. I've seen people stake them but that always makes them look restricted and less bushy. Thoughts? Thanks so much for all the inspiration!

Oh my gosh! Thank you so much for the tip on the drip sprinkler, and bringing it up through the hole in the bottom of the container! Would you teach us how to install the part that waters/sprinkler itself? I think this could save lives! LOL!
