Have never done this but now watching you I 'm going to give it a go! Yeah We will see if I have a green thumb! LOL LOL But I got the bug from you & all of the great people on this blob so wish me luck & here I go on my very 1st. garden. I'm so excited about it & scared too that I will kill somenthing or not take care of it the right way or pick somethin to soon.
Robert took me to the garden center & told me we were going to be broke before he could get me out of there! He said we don't have enough roome for all of that so I had to put some back. Dang it! He said he can see it now I'll keep buying & he'll have to keep building. LOL LO: L But guys everything is so pretty & I just want to plant it in my back yard! But hey the ground in Killeen, TX. is not ment for planting. Dang, but if I have to plant above ground I guess there is nothing else for it, here come the planter boxes. LOL LOL

Laura! I have a question - have you ever moved tulips/daffodils out in the landscape while they're in bloom? I moved into a house late spring last year, and I think there are daffodils that a previous owner planted and they are in odd places. I've never moved already planted bulbs and would love your take on this. From looking online it seems like I should wait till they die back - but that means I have to look at wonky placement all spring

Got out in my flowers today and dug up some yucca plants, and I mean yuck, that were over taking my flower garden. I love those plants in the garden in the winter but hate them all other times. They have roots that go to China and back. I don't have the power to dig them up anymore so I just cut out what I can get to and then they come out in the fall again. lol Looking forward to spring here. Wish I had access to blooming tulips!

Laura, I must say I look forward to your videos everyday! Your ideas and explanations inspire me to get out in my garden and try many new things. I noticed you have planted bulbs in this container; my question is will you leave them or take them out when they are finished. After watching this in early spring I planted hyacinths with a couple of Hellebores and daffodils along with red dianthus. Just need a little advice. Thanks

I planted 50 tulip bulbs last October in several pots about 4-5 in deep each (the containers were 8- 10 inches deep) after watching your video. The pots were kept in the garage over winter with occasional watering. Sadly only on or two tulips came out this spring. This made me realize that they are not as easy as it looks in the video. What could possibly be the problem? Please help!

beautiful flowers. Can you do a video on your recommended plants that can be put around the patios/decks that will help to repel insects, bugs, bees, wasp. I would love to hangout in my back yard its bare right now but would love to plant flowers and stuff but don't what to be bothered but tones of bugs and then I can't enjoy my back yard. Thanks in advance

They look adorable. I wonder how those tulips will fair when we get 5 of snow. I did plant about 100 tulip bulbs in containers that I stuck down in my raised bed with the plan that when they come up, I would easily be able to move them into planters in my front yard. Still waiting to see if my experiment will be successful. They haven't come up yet.

One of the best items I love about spring is looking forward to keeping areas in bloom year round. I find that buying bulbs in fall is the best for the plant however I really like buying them in spring as they are often much chaper in spring just cause nurseries are trying to get rid of them. Then just store them for next fall.

So beautiful, so ready for spring, we still have snow and our weather here in Idaho won't allow me to plant anything just yet, but you can bet as soon as I can I will be planting stuff. Thanks Laura for making me smile I needed this bit of joy! See you in your next video, bye for now.
