Planting Spring Crops! Garden Answer moumsyed: Hi Laura! Thank you so much for sharing your spring garden. I have a quick question. I am an amateur gardener and have a tiny plot in the backyard where I planted tomatoes, mint and cilantro last spring. I live in Iowa and because of the cold and snow all the plants wilted and turned brown (may be died. I saw your cilantro plants survived the whole year, how did you do that? Can I get any tips to make the plants last longer? Thank you in advance!
Best regards,
Momina

Thank you so much Laura for all you do and for taking us in this journey with you. You have taught me so much. You inspire me with each video you make for us.
I live in Florida. And I really am not sure when to start with vegetables. But I already have strawberries, green onions and I see the corn I planted are already starting to grow. I am so excited. Cant wait to grow more.
Ps. Benjamin is the cutest! And so big! Feels like he was born yesterday.

Totally off topic. but didnt know where else to go to ask a question. Ive moved and my flowers will all be different light now. Can I plant dragon wing begonias in a south facing window box? What else could I put in them, will have a lot of sun. Thanks! Were in Wisconsin and spring is far off yet. love to see your videos and getting us in the mood for planting!

Great job you two. Awesome video. I found you about a year ago and have learned so much. This weekend I came across a video from 2015. I share you with everyone I can talk gardening with every chance I get. Love seeing Benjamin. As a great grandmother of 7, I just want to kiss those cheeks! You are truly blessed and are a blessing to all of your followers.

I enjoy watching your planting/gardening videos. You and your son Benjamin are adorable. I wish I had your energy and all that you accomplish in a short time frame of a video. Age has slowed me down and health issues. Best of luck to you in all your gardening endeavors. Bottle some of that energy and make it available to older folks would ya? LOL

Thank you for sharing your garden with us. You make it look so easy. You have such a positive attitude. You are so very inspiring. Thank you again for all of your hard work. Oh, Benjamin was so precious when he was looking at all the pretty colors of the flowers in the wagon. I had to chuckle.

I'm so jealous that you are already out gardening. We still have a good layer of snow covering everything and our soil is still quite frozen. I will need to wait until late April before I see any of my bulbs pop up. I have such a itch to garden though!

Hi Laura and Aaron: Just thought I would let you know I found that Vegetable Garden Thermometer you are using in this video. It is sold by West Coast Seeds in British Columbia. Maybe you bought it on your honeymoon! I just ordered mine

Spring! We just jumped from 30 to 50 degree weather so the 3ft of snow is still melting on the north side of the house and on the Southside the soil is still thawing! We're in Spokane. I'm envious.
