Planting Fire Light Hydrangeas!
video description
I'd really like to know one thing: Where do you, and other gardeners with much smaller yards, put their extra dirt? I have a mound that is likely rotting out my neighbor's wooden fence. I now try to spread it around, but very limited space for that. What do people do?

That is going to be an amazing backdrop to whatever is coming! I notice that in the more wet and dewy times of autumn is when it seemed like my hydrangea blooms turn brown instead of staying pretty. Its like all that dew doesnt dry off during the day and they kind of just get icky. Mine seem to stay prettier if there is a breezier and drier air moving instead of stagnant humidity, if that makes sense. Anyway, I also love that Scarlet Curls willow (I think thats what that is) in the background of this video. I have some baby ones planted around the property and I just think they (well, ANY willow) are so dramatic, soft and gorgeous! Love willow trees and yours are just phenomenal!

HiLaura, I am just starting some design work on my garden because of you.
Today I was given a daisy tree and am not sure what to do with it. It did not come with a tag. I have decided to pot it. Is this a full sun plant? Do I need to dead head? Can I move this in my house for the winter or should I leave it out? Im in the Chicago area.
Thanks and love your videos! Happy Mothers Day!

Once again my day has been inspired by Garden Answer. Off to buy proven winners if I can find them. I think Laura has caused a shortage in my area. Went to 5 nurseries yesterday. Not one Proven Winners hydrangea to be found. Knowing the heads wont droop, how much sun and water they take and when they bloom is a must. This is why I follow this wonderful couple.

I love all of your videos! You explain everything so well! Im very curious to know what you do with drip tubing for the winter. I see that you use it in almost every flower bed you have. Is there any way that you have to winterize it? Or just disconnect them from the water source at the beginning of winter?

Can't wait to see these plants get larger and bloom. Start my day with you and I get inspired to work in my yard. I just can't get hydrangeas to grow here. Maybe these will work because our summer heat gets up well past 100 degrees also. Thanks for another great video. Tab

Excited to see them bloom. I planted 2 Bobo hydrangeas in my front yard about a month ago. Definitely going to use your hydrangeas progress to assess my own.
Also, can we have an update on the Bobo hydrangeas that you planted on your parents yard? Thank you!

Thanks to you and your inspiring video, I bought a Fire Light Hydrangea from Proven Winners. I'm going to plant it outside my mom's window for her to enjoy. She is bed ridden from a stroke and thanks to your videos, I've planted a garden for her to enjoy!

Planted one of these last year and blooms turned brown. guess I'll be tweaking my drip system to give my plant more water! Great tip Laura, I did not know that! Can't wait to see your hedge- I'm sure it will be beautiful.
